How do these idiots say 'it's your hotel; visitors are you business' and 'they charge by the person'; yet don't understand the 'no visitors' policy? It doesn't mean you can't have people visit your room; it just means if you rent a double queen because no single rooms are available, you can't invite friends to sleep over just because you have a spare bed in your room - as, by pulling that stunt, it means the hotel is losing money on a bed that could have been rented out to a paying visitor.Off topic but of course the Moore hotel in Seattle Jaiden hinted at is starting to getting review bombed
It's also a safety precaution for both hotel staff and guest. The more people in a room, the bigger mess there is for the housekeepers to clean up and the higher chances that something in the room can be damaged/stolen - which the guest the room is rented to will be held liable for.
I mean, why do they think hotel staff asks visitors how many people are staying in the room?
Edit: Just watched the video and Holy crap! The fact that this girl does not understand what the real issue was is alarming. The fact that the touring manager was acting really shady (telling them to avoid being spotted by the consierge and not speak to anyone) means that he knew that he was violating hotel policy by letting them into the room. (i.e. - the room was probably registered to a single person instead of a group; which is weird, because why wouldn't you be up front with the hotel manager about what the room is being used for? They want your money - they will happily accommodate you!)
I'm glad they were caught; and I hope that hotel never does business with them, again. It's just shitty that the hotel is getting flak for respecting the safety of their guests all because a dimwitted Youtuber didn't understand a basic hotel policy.
