Well, Arin's fans may be a trashfire, but at least the counter-fans are well grounded and sane. It's not like they're trying to read into Tarot cards or some nonsense like tha-

This shouldn’t be taken too seriously, but I watched the 10MPH episode where they do the psychic reading stuff or whatever, and I found it really interesting how insightful that video was in retrospect. I don’t really believe in anything relating to psychic activities or anything of the sort, but considering the results they got when they did the tarot card readings, I’m really convinced that they might be onto something. Arin’s card indicated that he was exhausted, fatigued, and reaching burn-out. Suzy’s card indicated that there was a lack of teamwork and organization caused by selfishness. Finally (and this is the most interesting one), Dan’s card indicated that he was lacking direction, and that he was loosing control as he was “not in the driver’s seat”. It also suggested for him to take control of the things he could, and to let go of what he couldn’t. This may sound outlandish, but I personally believe that the readings were SPOT ON. The quality of the Grumps’ content in recent years, along with the terrible decisions that have been made, are a clear indicator of this. Plus, as seen in many posts on this subreddit, the ideas that Dan isn’t that engaged/involved with Game Grumps in the grand scheme of things, and that leaving would be best for him are supported as well. I strongly believe that these readings are a pretty good description of what’s been going on with them lately. But idk, what do you guys think? Of course it's spot on. 'Psychic readings' are all about getting a quick read on a persons personality and then saying some vague shit which can be interpreted in different ways, so that gullible people can find meaning in it.


Also you don't have to be a 'professional psychic' to conclude that a 40 year old stoner, who spends his days playing video games is lacking direction in live. :lit:

Right now it says that they had permission from the artist to use it, but that was only added within the last hour. Luckily a friend of mine was able to take a screencap of the old description before it got changed to what it currently is - if you remember, this is the same person who archived the MasterSword stream in advance before that got taken down, so thanks to them again for grabbing this while I was away.

And if you're wondering: you may notice that the description cuts off right after "thinking"? That's not a thing on his end, the old description really did just cut off like that.

I wonder if the Grumps ever apologized to the last artist they stole art from. Or, did they feel they didn't have to because they made a hasty job of changing it?

I disagree because Arin and Dan know exactly what they're doing, and Daniel may not be as complicit but Arin will try to do game grumps for as long as possible. and do you think game grumps will ever stop existing in its entirety? when arin finally decides to call it quits he'll probably find some way to do like a game grumps special episode thing every couple months to cash in on nostalgia. im being to harsh on Arin, he's just making money and isn't that what everyone wants?
 
Arin seems to be taking the dsp approach to financed, put as little actual effort in as possible and squeeze your r.etard fanbase for as much cash as possible.
 
Any idea of the time these videos were filmed in? I know Sonic Heroes is the first one to be filmed from them in Quarantine, but the video titles are really aping Ben's style.

I assume the vids are about a 2 weeks to a month apart, since the Game Grumps Water Bottle went on sale April 23rd, and the Mario Tennis vid went up on May 25th(where they discuss the water bottle sales). The callout post for Ben was written on Reddit May 19th, and the "It's been taken care" comment from the Magic opening stream on May 31st.

More so curious to see if they're just using old Ben edits or if the new editor (Possibly Tucker) is just going with that style just because it's familiar or not.

I've thought about that, but quickly decided against it due to how inconvenient it would be for people to go to multiple different mega links for specific episodes they want. I want to make it easier for everyone by keeping everything in one location where at most they would have to expand folder trees and scroll down.

You could just make a giant torrent and seed it out for a while. That way it can theoretically never go down. Until people get bored and stop seeding anyway.
