Proof is here (a .5/5 Star review for "TOME Episode 1" on Newgrounds):
"Let me reason with you.

I'm really disappointed in your ability to not listen to anything at all.

You have two people who have successfully made a career out of animation, joke telling, and design, and these are the two people you're adamantly choosing not to listen to.

I just think you genuinely don't understand anything about direction, story telling, character development, or visual design, but you're convinced that you do.

Your colors suck. Since the first time I ever talked to you I told you your colors suck and they still do. It's not a choice, it's not a "style," they're ugly. There's no harmony. I can't even describe where to start because it's all so wrong. Please paint or... something. Just get a handle on some color theory somehow, read some books, watch Thundercats.

Your characters are 2 dimensional and I find no joy in watching them. Okay, I get it, that was your choice. Great, but it's still boring. I could choose to put dogshit in a soup because it was my intention but it's still going to be disgusting soup. I find your characters' snarky archetypal "personalities" an embarrassing chore to sit through and I think a little humanizing and something any audience can relate to would add to them greatly. Also motivation helps. And backstory. Who are these people? What do they want? What do they like? Why should I like them?

The story... my god, what is even happening? Typically you set up some kind of clear conflict or motivation for the characters right away but, I don't know, nobody seemed to be attempting to accomplish something and none of the characters aahsdhgjhsgljh THIS MOVIE IS A MESS.

But look, I get everything you're trying to do, honestly I do, but you're failing at all of it. Clearly you wanted to write an engaging story and you failed. Clearly you wanted to make likeable characters and you failed. Clearly you wanted to have an appealing "style" that RPG fans can appreciate and you failed.

Your biggest problem is you can't even grasp the concept that you may be really bad at all the things you're trying to do "on purpose" and you're writing any criticism off as people just not getting it: it's not "our thing." Take a step back and realize that there are some people who deserve to be listened to because they know what the fuck they're talking about. They're not being mean, they're just being honest." -Egoraptor, November 17th 2011
Well, because I'm a cunt
It's really funny how talented Arin thought he was after the success of the Awesome series. He's the poster boy of the old-internet mentality that came with e-fame.
He thought he was a comedy genius because he made cartoons where famous video game characters say the word "fuck" over and over along with sex and violence, which the 9-12 year old kids who browsed NG back then thought was comedy gold.
He suddenly thinks he's a master of color theory and character design because he's able to slap pastel colors on sloppily drawn anime girls. Kirb dares to use colors at a lower saturation than bright, eyesearing neon? " I just think you genuinely don't understand anything about direction, story telling, character development, or visual design."
Kirb doesn't make abuse the overlay feature in flash to make every fucking frame have a green, blue, or purple tint like Arin does? "Please get a handle on color theory".

Don't get me wrong, Arin made some decent stuff for 2008 (in his illustration sometimes, definitely not his animation, those still look like trash), but he never had a proper grasp on anatomy, especially with faces. Without fail he always went for pseudo-anime blobbyiness every single time. Hardly anything to brag about or at this stuck up over.
He also never tried making any cartoons with a genuine episodic story, he's talking out his ass when he's shitting on kirb for "not setting up an immediate conflict" in the first episode. All he's ever made are "subversive" cartoons critiquing or picking apart pre-established concepts or media. But being the #1 followed person on NG means your opinion is fact, I guess. Living up to the "ego" in his name.

The only difference between him and Channel Awesome is that Arin, despite having the same attitude, had a smaller friend group, and was lucky enough to catch onto the train of the second wave of LPers with Pewdiepie and Markiplier and the rest, giving him a 12 year old fanbase that will literally eat anything he puts out for them, no matter how low the quality. Just like in the past. Overreactions to movies and comics fell out of vogue as soon as their audience left high school. As long as overreacting lets plays stay the vogue, Arin's got a secure future.

It's no wonder people like Rtil and the backalleys community hated Arin. They saw through the low quality pandering shit he created all the way back in 2008 and the ego (heh) he grew from it and called it out for what it was. Rtil's heads and shoulders above Arin in regards to talent, both back then and now, and he never flexed that talent on others or bragged as much as Arin.

What makes you think it's Tucker?
He's still credited as an editor for GG currently alongside Ben. I know he does the stuff for TMPH but I believe he also edits some of the Supermega vids since they're friends.

Really the only other person right now unless there is a new third party acting like Ben with the titles. The thumbnails are slowly going back so I feel it's someone else.

I see that the Goof Troop episodes are still up. Did Arin forget that Jon says something about Mexicans in them?
I think it's safe to say that Arin just looked up compilations and took down videos featured in them, so there's probably way more he missed because of his laziness

I don't think Tucker has edited for Supermega since Justin was brought in to edit.

I can't stand RantGrumps it's 99% GG fans in denial.
RantGrumps is an exit pipeline for people who, at one point, were mega fans.

So many posts on there start off with “Game Grumps was funny, but really lost its charm in [YEAR].” But as new fans lose interest and join in, the year in which Game Grumps stopped being funny just keeps sliding forward. There are probably people in there right now who thought GG was the funniest thing ever until like...2019, and are just now losing interest in it.

That's probably to do with how stagnant their humor is, if you don't click with gay jokes, lazy potty humor, generic "funny" noises, etc, you get tired of it really quick. It wouldn't be as apparent if GG was actually about the gameplay, but because they kind of market themselves as comedians, its painfully noticeable.
Eventually they move onto OneyPlays, where the humor is slightly less derivative and from people who seem way more genuine since their sole form of income isn't playing games.

Apologies for the double post, but we have an amazing new shirt featuring the shiny pig fetus that is Arin Hanson.

It was only a matter of before they go Steven Universe style with their merch.

Unrelated to this merch but apparently Arin and the lovelies are not fans of people asking about Ben during livestreams.

Arin has his very own #JuanButNotForgetten (as those magic words that would really piss off Spoony during streams). Can we get a #BenButNotForgotten in chat?

Holy shit that looks awful. The art style is ugly as sin, the colors are ugly as sin, and the whole thing makes me want to vomit because I know those autistic fucks will gobble this shit up like Arin fucking painted the sistine chapel.

Arin deleting classic GameGrumps episodes is just beyond stupid.
Wait he's doing what now? Which ones and why?
I know this is gonna get me some late stickers but I don't pay that much attention to GameGrumps and like, I don't know where in the last 30 pages or whatever that news broke. Someone more active in this thread, can you at least point me to the start of that so I can catch up or explain?

To recap:

Arin asks if GG should support BLM on his personal twitter. (He's worried it would sound too "corporate".)
Everyone gets mad at him for being a spineless pussy for asking his fans what he should think.
Arin apologizes for his wrongthink, GG pro-BLM post goes up. It addresses the fact Arin (and Jon) have said the nigger word and been general racist bigots in old GG episodes. (Even before this statement people have been replying to or @-ing Arin with "Game Grumps N-Word Compilations" on twitter.)
After the statement, select old Jon era episodes start dropping like flies. People suspect Arin didn't skim through his backlog and just torched shit based on those compilations, as he did a bad job of removing "racially insensitive content" from GG.
Fan infighting (and Rant Grumps infighting) over this ensue.

It does spur an in-depth archiving project by @SSF2T Old User, so some good did come of it.

That's the gist of it.

Speaking of which...

That torrent idea @Just A Butt had worked. When I was monitoring the test magnet link, I noticed at least 1 person using it before I closed it. That pretty much inspired me to go out and buy a 2TB external hard drive and stick all the videos on that and have the downloads just be one torrent rather than a mega link. I would have done this earlier, but "Juneteenth" kinda put a halt to that.

The good thing about this specific torrent that it's not going to be one "ZIP" but an entire folder, so before you download it, you can actually select what parts you want to download, so rather than download all episodes, you can download whichever ones you want.

I'll post an update with torrent directions for newbies once I get everything set up, I need to format the hard drive and then move everything to it and create a new magnet link for the torrent
