Used to lurk this thread b4 I made an account, but damn. I used to hate reading this shit, but now I skim through their videos every once and awhile, I can understand what y'all have been saying

(:_(GG isn't even fun to have as background noise anymore, all it is now is arin screaming about the game being shitty or making fart noises while dan is just.. there.

I was thinking about making one of their "Guts & Glory" play, everytime they repeeat their stupid "Dad?" line... and there is a joke i luckily forgotten for now in basically ALL the Monopoly episodes that Arin likes to repeat, i think it was the "or you could just Shut the fuck up" or something basic that he seems to be comedic gold.

It seemed like the product is based off of the tech used to write new episodes, reuse old jokes in slightly different formations. How much do you wanna bet the word "butt" and/or "schlong" is in there?
 
Potentially big development, should this go anywhere.
Another person, u/Isthisyourpup, has come forward stating that Dan held a long-distance repoir and groomed her in 2016-17, while she was 17 years old living in the UK. Alongside this, said user was also asking for confirmation on the year Ashley started dating them, so as to make sure Dan wasn't fucking Ashley on the side while he was still in a committed relationship.

Immediately people called bullshit, as you do, and asked for receipts.

While no receipts have been publicly posted, they have been shared with subreddit mods u/TheValkuma and u/EatSomeEggs, as well as from resident archivist and lurker u/NotBlarg. And from all of their accounts, these receipts were damning enough and provided enough information that it completely confirmed the story in their eyes. If anyone wants to play liaison to try and verify the legitimacy of the text/receipts, she has open DMs and is sharing with anybody who asks in the Reddit thread.

Simultaneously, this new development also brought to light this Dan fan blog that was partially the reason for more and more people starting to come out about Dan's allegations again on the RantGrumps subreddit, which it seems we MAY have missed.
This girl also apparently got chased out of the fandom after posting this, according to u/SpecialAmphibian6.

Take all of this with a grain of salt, as this is all still he said, she said tit-for-tat bullshit for now (save for the blog), but if this ends up being true and the receipts leak: then HOO BOY, we could have another Ryan Haywood situation on our hands from just how much Dan's pumped and dumped these girls, while using his nice guy persona to take advantage of them.

That part right there is really all you need, not even just for Dan. All these gamer dudes that reach any popularity in the mainstream could probably fuck a lot of their fans, the question is just how high their standards are and if they consider being 18+ a requirement or just a preference.

That all depends on where, if anything, happened.
If she was 17 and they fucked at a meet up in the US or he has nudes from when she was underage he's still on the hook providing the statute of limitations isn't up.

The age of consent in the UK is 16 unless the older party is in a position of trust over the younger party (i.e., a teacher), in which case the age of consent is 18. If this happened in the UK and Danny wasn't teaching her, then technically nothing illegal happened. If this happened in the US, however, it would depend on the state in which it happened, as the age of consent state to state varies from 16 to 18.
