The only person I know who has watched GG is some kid I worked with at the mall. But, this was also during the Jon era.
 
Just some shower thoughts, but I just realised how destined to fail Arin is. He's tried to make it big in LA but he doesn't have a chance at getting any significant work, his connections aren't interested in working with him besides appearing on Guest Grumps because their kids made them. His reputation is probably tarnished over there after everyone was pointing all those instances of him saying slurs. Forgive me if I'm wrong but even the Wolfharts seem less interested in working with them these days, I guess even they've seen how much Game Grumps has downgraded. His internet fandom will never stop dropping for a variety of reasons too. Let's Plays are a dying art form on Youtube but that's what his entire brand is reliant on. Most people online wouldn't collab with him because they either don't like him, or know not to work with him because of how far it's spread among bigger Youtubers that he's a snake that'll burn bridges with people if they become an inconvenience to his brand, such as TotalBiscuit who sided with Jontron when he left the show, or Arin's already burned bridges with them, and everyone else just doesn't find him funny or for whatever reason simply won't work with him, such as RLM. People like Jacksepticeye and Markiplier will work with Arin but their fans still don't like Game Grumps and Arin. The only people that like Arin these days are Game Grumps fans, that are already small in number compared to other let's players, but also he chose to solely appeal to snowflakes, who will eventually grow out of that mindset and out of Arin's safe and dumbed down humour, and everyone else is just getting tired of Game Grumps and moving onto other let's players. It's quite an impressive downfall tbqh

Probably the 10 minutes of "whoa that isn't acceptable!" or "This game aged poorly." pander speech after they find out about Fujisaki that ends up pissing everyone off. If they even make it after the first trial.
Danganronpa has a significant SJW fanbase that goes off like a trigger about Fujisaki if the right things aren't said.
 
What do you guys suppose will finally sink the grump ship? There’s been doxing, having one of the main hosts be a sex pest with fans, looking the other way for staff with pedo behavior, offending actual gay people with performative wokeshit, disregard for fan wellbeing, disregard for fellow creators. A bunch of shit that would’ve put anyone else’s career six feet under and yet they still stumble along. What could they possibly do to finally lose the lovelies blind devotion to them?

Time, unfortunately. As much as I'd love for them to be some kind of big spergout where Arin loses a bunch of fans, or someone comes forward with legit evidence Danny groomed them, I don't think it'll happen. Or rather, even if it did, they'd still have a bunch of people jumping to their defense.

But I think what really has done them in is just losing fans over time. A lot of the posters here, myself included, fully admit to enjoying them years ago and then slowly started to realize their content wasn't really all that great until we just stopped watching. Up until now, it hasn't mattered too much because they've been going through the usual cycle of getting new fans, having those fans grow up and leave, only to be replaced by newer fans. But, they were only really getting away with that because LPs were still fairly relevant/they had attached themselves to some big name. But now, LP's have largely been replaced by streaming, and the Grumps have burnt a lot of bridges. I certainly don't think they're going to just up and leave the internet anytime soon, but I think it'll be a slow bleed until they just fade into internet irrelevancy. If they're lucky, they'll have just enough loyal fans to keep floating by, though that only works if Arin changes his spending habits which seems pretty up in the air.

The Arin lust falls into two strange categories--the people who still imagine him as the Shaggy twink from the Ego days, or love his 'bear' status and pretend he has any muscle tone. The Arin fans are much more sexually rabid than the Dan ones too, maybe it's some subconscious shitlove that Arin clearly shares. Don't know how someone could ever be attracted to someone who willingly admitted to shitting on camera.

How could anyone love a mass murderer? it always surprises me the amount of love letters that mass shooters receive after they commit those crimes. If Arin decided that he had enough of the youtube life and popped some caps into countless innocents I have no doubt that his fan girls would be all over that.

The Game Gyaru shirt even came with a promotional video that - amazingly - some folks mistook for and advert for an animated series.

All of their shirts are just pure in-jokes so this isn't breaking new ground for them or any Let's Play merchandise.

Are they really doing so poorly that the only merch they're putting out is from Sonic Shuffle? I don't track their numbers but I'd think the channel would have plenty of higher performing videos. I'd expect a reference to the Eggman "TAKE THIS" spam faster than this.
 
When Dan inevitably gets arrested for being a sex pest, Arin can change the theme song pretty easily: "Hey I'm Grump, I took a dump, and we released it!"

Fun fact: I meant to type "It's barely an in-joke" but i'm retarded.

I don't even think that them doing bad would make them do this shit, I think they're smelling their own farts way too much. Any time something even remotely funny happens they see that as being something worth immortalizing onto a cotton canvas straight from a sweatshop.

A lot of women just don't care what a guy does, as long as he's hot. Men do it too. Though on a similar note, I have no idea how some of these guys haven't snapped and killed someone yet, even if they are lazy.
