Yeah it would have been huge if he came out as trans only a couple years into the Danny era. Fans would still eat it up now although his body was slightly less fat and disgusting back than making the transition process easier & he'd be way more attractive in feminine clothing. Like just imagine a fully shaped Hanson in that sonic outfit teasing his bulgy wulgy on his money begging website of choice.

I doubt it, just seems like good publicity. A good few people in the comments of Arin's post haven't forgotten, but it seems that no one at NG is petty or stupid enough to shit on Arin for doing something that's actually pretty cool for once.

If he wanted to donate the tablets; great - that's helpful and I'm sure struggling artists will appreciate it! But needing it to be made clear that 'he' made a donation', that 'he' gave all those tablets to help a good cause; makes the whole donation itself feel so disingenuous.

A true act of selflessness would be to donate these items, and not have your name attached to it - at all. Arin needing to point out what he did honestly makes it feel like he's been fishing for praise (which he's been getting).

Interesting development, Arin brought up this Newgrounds tablet give away thing and apparently donated some tablets to it. Last I checked Arin was distancing himself from Newgrounds and was kind of on awkward terms with Tom so it's interesting to see him bring attention to this. So good on him I guess but I'm cynical enough about Arin to wonder if there's an angle (besides just good PR).

Tools to create? A modern smartphone, pen and paper? Or the multiple manners of tracing and hiding it with photoshop layers?

I 'lost' an old classmate to weed for 5-6 years. Came back able to produce some photorealistic sketches as per typical hand-eye methodology. The fact 'modern artists' can only draw in relation to tablets and digital mediums is absurd. It's more of a minigame about learning the basic tricks than.. hell, even anatomy.

The above is a common misunderstanding.

His comment is more of a critique of artists only being able to draw digitally and not branching out to any other arenas. Not MUH HECKIN' DIGITAL ARTERINO.

During their Super Mario 35 LP, Dan talked about how he's become super uncomfortable with the gay relationship fanfiction and how they want the fanbase to stop doing it. This got some on r/rantgrumps to acknowledge how hypocritical this was given not only has Arin encouraged this shit (until recently....kinda, where he told BlueBreed to stop making cuck fics of Arin, Jon, and his Suzy) but that they've been using sex as a part of their branding for years with no issues, which of course got Lovelies in an uproar because "how dare you claim people can't reclaim their sexuality, how fucking DARE think you have the right to stop them from taking away consent to drawing them lewd", alongside the usual "ARIN DID THIS YEARS AGO! HE'S CHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANGED" argument.
