Follow up for the next episode, Arin took the middle ground with the story being revealed and started using gender neutral pronouns instead of female ones. Dan couldn't be bothered to keep track of who was talking about who and just read things as is. Arin ended the video basically saying it was an odd situation to navigate with that character and finished with a trans people are valid type comment.

This shit kills me. I don't care if you think someone is/isn't male/female/trans, if the creator said they're X, then they are X. Shut up and stop virtue signalling to make yourself look better than the author, nobody gives two shits.

It was more entertaining to hear the fear in Arin's voice whenever Chihiro's gender is brought up than the actual 'content' itself. Should've just made a simple 'That seems like overreacting' response or barely address it at all beyond the game is 10 years old and Japanese.

Don't know enough about Danganronpa to know if there's more 'problematic' thinking ahead but if the comments are any indication even they think he's overreacting.

I saw this shit hitting the twitter sphere earlier and wanted to look into it.

It's a fucking video game first off so who the fuck cares. It's pixels on a fucking screen.
Second, if you disregard that, the guy literally walks into the mens locker room at night where no one is around and could have easily gone to the girls locker room but meets the biker dude who has the hots for him only to realize he was a trap.

Arin just thinks he knows everything and needs to be the "woke" one. See you in a week or two when he tweets about this only to dig the hole deeper.
 
If Arin wants to show off how woke he is, shouldn't he have some trannies on the show as guests? They're in CA right? Should be able to find some in the local area.

He doesn't give a shit about trans people or gay people now he's just using it to cover up the shit he said in the past, he doesn't wanna admit he did those things he wants to delete it all and wipe the past away so people dont think of "had to say the n word multiple times when being near black people" arin they think of this arin.
Just like the rest of his life he puts the bare minimum into this thinking it'll work forever.

Did we watch the same episode? In total the trans pandering lasted like 2 minutes out of 57. If that was exhausting for you I'm thinking you have thin skin.
And I'm not defending episode (or Arin), but people are blowing this way out of proportion

It will work forever, though.

"Transphobic" and "Racist" are labels you put on someone you dislike to destroy their career - but there isn't anything to gain by targeting Arin. He's a declining let's player who doesn't have much in the way of assets.

He also gets a lot of "pass points" by being panderingly gay, crossdressing, and making literal gay games (Dream Daddy).

Pretty much. He's nestled into his market and has his sherp herd who will support his dumb decisions no matter how idiotic they are because he makes them laugh. He's pulling into that crowd since he knows that's where his $$$ base is, and if he didn't the moment he dropped a line during a LP that could be viewed as transphobic, the balance would be really against him.

I'm glad people are starting to realize shit like spending $80 for a pajama shirt/pants combo (not including shipping) sounds like a fucking ripoff, but not everyone in the GG fanbase is able to channel that single braincell for an actual positive use.

You're assuming the content creator has good business sense. Arin has dozens on his payroll and spends a shit ton of money renovating the office. 40k a month across 40 employees means that each only gets 12k a year, not including taxes.
