How much are you willing to bet that that's gonna bite them in the ass? Seriously dude, it doesn't matter if "they have pretty good taste in games/movies" (I'm pressing X SO HARD on that statement BTW), they're LITERALLY STALKING YOU AND EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOUR COHORTS. GET THE FUCK OUT.

Oh wait, he's a redditor, he's probably not gonna listen.

'I'm still there mostly because when they're not being creeps, they're playing games or watching movies, and if I'm honest, they have a pretty good taste in both. '

Anyone else get vague domestic abuse victim vibes from that line; or is it just me?

'Sure, they're awful people most of the time; but they have their good moments - so they're not all bad!'

"Sure they stalk and harass over 8,000 people because they know they can get away with it because nobody has access to the server everone on Main has access to that server though but ignore it cuz they don't know da sekret code, but they said they'd never do something like that to me. I'm cool with those guys, that's why I'm using my alt so they can't find me and add me there! No it's fine, it's FINE, IT'S. FINE!!!"

What's even the point of documenting every person who shit talked your favorite b-tier YouTubers? Most people on here and Reddit don't cross-contaminate and connect their users to other social media, so it's not like you can actually stalk them.
The significant difference of someone coming on here to talk about a recent event or posting on the rant subreddit and going about their day TO literally spending every waking moment searching /r/rantgrumps on new, checking their user, seeing if they had been posted in the list prior, then updating the list with the user and the date and time to when they first posted.
Jesus Christ. Go outside. Get a hobby.

It's common practice, unfortunately, for some users on Reddit to go back through one's post history in order to find one possible thing that contradicts what they said in order to win arguments for karma. I don't mean, like, click on their profile and look like most sane users would do, I mean do exactly what these guys are doing and go back through YEARS worth of posts and comments on nearly every single subreddit and their upvote history in an attempt to own you.

Difference here is that these people are doing it on a massive scale and these 15 or so 30 year olds also somehow have the dedication to keep tabs on these users on the daily to see where, and how, they post and about what subject. That is weaponized autism beyond the pale of anything I've seen on this forum. That's too much even for Reddit standards and completely cult-like behavior.

I assume it's less focused on KF, to be honest. Reddit is defo the main focus here. Some assholes like the idea of "building a brand" across social media platforms
I used to be one of them
especially in communities centered on LPer's and such, so there is a slight chance that they can track down their other accounts. The point of the stupid masterlist of GG detractors is probably a combination of being bored and lonely, pretending to do something important and wanting some form of power over others. Gayops of this level tend to form out of a genuine desire to hurt someone or extreme pettiness.

The feeling of being able to look at a user and feel that they can "expose" them or sic a personal army on them means a lot to certain people. I'm sure that most of the people don't even know or care about why they're contributing to the list, they just do it because it's been normalized in that micro-community.

Imagine a 25+ year old person that likes the Grumps and interacts with the community, they're probably somewhat autistic. Now imagine that same person joining a super secret Discord server and it's couple of people that spend their day e-stalking random Redditors, they then do not choose to leave immediately after realizing how fucking unhinged those people are. Why did they not leave? They, too, are unhinged.

KF does the same thing, kinda. The difference is that most KF users know that not every random asshole is worth paying attention to and the purpose of keeping tabs on them isn't to use that info to blackmail them, but to simply watch them.

None of this would've happened if the GG fanbase took up the name "Cum Faggots" like Jon suggested.

Well according to someone who commented on my spergout, "it's just a blocklist, it's not a big deal."

Okay let's just assume that comparison has any merit to it whatsoever. It doesn't, and doesn't account for all of this being done manually by apparently 1 guy, but let's just pretend that it does.

In what world do these people live in to think it's normal to block over 8,000 people?

Have you been on twitter lately? Tons of people there think its perfectly fine to block someone and all of their followers because they either disagreed with you or were right about something. The internet has turned people into gigantic pussies who will just scream "LALALALALALALALA" over you.

That said, this isn't a block list. And that's fucking retarded to say. When you block someone, you dont then follow them from the shadows to keep on eye on what they've been up to.

Yeah, no way they won't turn on him for shittalking them.

"But a blocklist does that automatically anyways by following the account to make sure you don't see it! I don't see what the big deal is if it's done manually!"
- Some Lovely, probably.

Speaking of Twitter, Arin made an announcement yesterday that he's going to take a break.
An...indefinite break. From all of YouTube, including streaming on Shuffle Master and including Game Grumps.

Which is a bit weird and out of the blue since the Grumps apparently just went on Christmas break, and because this would be the time where they need to make the most videos due to this being the worst financial month for YouTubers. So I took a look on RantGrumps to see if people were talking about it, and while nobody was, one person brought up this little piece of news.

As we've talked about before, a lot of Lovelies (including NotBlarg in his 2020 summary post) have gone through the records of the Healing Horse Therapy charities they run, and have found that all of the money being donated isn't seemingly going into the charity itself, there's no paper trail for where it's been going instead, there's been little to no actual reviews or interactions with this business from the supposed clientele they've got, and that the company is based in North Carolina despite the fact that Arin's family lives in Florida. This has lead people to suspect that Healing Horse might be being used as a shell company to funnel money gained from the charity into Game Grumps; that this was the potentially corrupt financial thing Arin's been doing that MasterSword, a former GG remixer, talked about on his livestream last year. And with the veto and subsequent ban happening, and not 6 hours afterwards, Arin says he suddenly needs to go dark, not even saying it's due to burnout or anything, just that he's gotta do it...

Either that's one hell of a coincidence, or Arin finally got caught with his pants down and needs to rectify shit pronto before the cops show up at their door...again.

I would hope that Arin wasn't using his mother like that but, then again, he did try to claim she was complicit in a three-way abusive relationship with his fake uncle, so YMMV.

Platinum game studios director Hideki Kamiya is notorious for blocking people on twitter for asking stupid questions & his block list is only 17,000 strong according to a Nick Robinson (sex creep) video posted on the June 28th 2019.

Meanwhile these fellas are building a stalker list of people who have rightfully called Arin Hanson a pants shitting manchild who chooses to make a career from reading anime books because he lacks the intelligence to press and hold the shield button in zelda games. 8,000 strong.

Wew lad. How fucking scummy do you have to be to funnel money into your company by disguising a shell company as a fucking charity of all things?! If Arin was gonna go that far, why not just set up a Patreon or something? That way, you'd get a steady flow of money, and all of it legally to boot!!

Oh wait, Arin's pants-on-head retarded. Never mind.

Because he doesn't want to listen or be beholden to fans. That's it. That's the only reason people have been able to come up with for Arin "reading e-mails is hard and dumb" Hanson.

Just a theory - maybe Dan finally grew a spine/got some balls (or both) and has officially called it quits with Game Grumps, and Arin needs time to process/find a new host.

This way, Grumps and their associates can disappear for awhile under the guise of their CEO needing a much deserved break and no one would be the wiser (because how are you going to give crap to someone who needs a mental break after the year we all just had?)

Sometimes I wish websites didn't allow people to block other people. Yeah, a lot of people are assholes, it's a perfectly sensible feature. But I can't help but feel like things would be better if people couldn't shut out dissenting opinions so easily. If they had to either deal with alternate viewpoints or get off the internet.

This is fucking hysterical. Arin is definitely stupid enough to think he can outsmart the IRS.
