What do you mean? This statement is literally about this happening. Why would he say anything if he figured he hadn't done anything wrong? I doubt he imagined someone trying to accuse him of grooming. And like I said earlier in this thread, Dan is not an incredibly online person. A lot of drama probably flew right under his radar.

I honestly think he saw nothing wrong with what he was doing since they were both adults and he obviously wasn't looking for anything serious. Honestly, his statement is short and concise and that's surprising. He's handling this maturely which is a lot to expect from someone on a thing like Game Grumps.
 
Even if it’s not pedophilia should Dan be called out for preying on fans and treating them as pump and dumps? He’s over 40 he should know how risky it is to do that in the digital age. Of course some scorned chick is going to cons out and make allegations.

He pulled a "Doug Walker" and decided to hire actors and do unfunny skits in his recent videos that come off as cringey as fuck. Jon dodged a bullet for sure but still....

You may not like the actors and some of his skits, but he still does well and the jokes still hit home way more often than other creators who try the same schtick.
 
I would bet actual money on Arin trooning out. He has literally every trait that they all have. On top of that, he's has no morals when it comes to business and he seems borderline incel-y with his weird obsessiveness with Suzy. $100 that he troons out before the end of 2022, with a high likelihood he does it in 2021, assuming some more drama happens.

The only reason I'm not calling an Arin troon out anymore is because his life is too busy, organized, and stable. Having no direction, an avoidant personality, and the humiliation of constant failure is the pinch of magic pixie dust that turns that key. If he was still just a Youtube animator, it would have happened back in 2015.
