The thing that blows my mind is that all his fans he’s a sex deviant because of his songs and his persona. Why are ANY of them surprised that he sleeps around with fans?

And then, to pretend they didn’t know, why would any of them be surprised that a famous person used their fame for free and easy sex? Like did this woman (and others like her) REALLY believe Dan was going to settle with them?

I guess that if Dan felt the need to further his explanations, he'll just claim that his relationship with that 22 year old girl "ran its course" right after they had sex (what a coincidence!), and that he chose to "move on". He's not going to admit he manipulated someone to get them in bed, and intentionally discarded them after he got what he was looking for.

And Dan Avidan is hardly the first male to do this, and he's certainly not going to be the last guy to ever pull the wool over a woman's eyes.
 
The biggest idiots in this saga are the people whining about cancel culture. Calling out wanton degeneracy isn't being a social justice warrior. In fact, being a "sex positive" idiot who thinks society benefits when porn, casual sex, and other vices run rampant is what social justice warriors think. Civilized society has ALWAYS had a problem with men like this and in less forgiving times pulling a stunt like this with a girl from the wrong family could leave you in exile or at the wrong end of a rope. The modern era is the time men like this are the MOST free to act on their predatory lusts without consequences.

This. It's not about preventing those poor innocent 22 year olds from being groomed, it's moderating degenerate behavior. Shaming people for adultery used to serve much the same purpose, and should be brought back in similar fashion.

I think the woman involved was fine with people being under the impression she was groomed into sex, but when news sources found her and started contacting her she realized she could get into very real trouble legally for spreading something this damaging when it's false. She could've clarified it the minute it blew up. She knew who she gave the information to. There's no way she wasn't keeping an eye on how things spread. It all got bigger than just cancelling a guy/ending his career and she didn't expect that. This is just my opinion, though.
