Now, what is interesting is who he was joined by. SonnyTM, JohnnyUtah, VeronicaAndJelly. I know the least amount about SonnyTM, but I know he was on a couple Oney Plays episodes. JohnnyUtah is a prominent Newgrounds name, Sleepy Cabin host, and I'm going to assume now ex-friend of Arin. And VeronicaAndJelly is Oney's current girlfriend. They have a couple things to add as well.

The Game Grump/toy stuff is cringe but not that big a deal. The hypocrisy of Arin and him changing himself and his views/comedy over the years to be more PC is the biggest bitch move. He used to be up there with the edgy jokes, crude humor, and all the bad words you definitely cant say today and just completely changed to broaden his audience and conform. The worst part is the judgement he has of others doing the same type of comedy and jokes he used to do. The stuff that made him popular, and what gave him such a large base when he started Game Grumps.

Hes abandoned all his old friends and is just completely all in on forgettable shit lets play content that he tries to class up and pretend its something its not. Im embarrassed for myself for ever liking him back in the early GG / Newgrounds days. It really is a shame because he did have some real talent, he just traded it in to cash out with the kiddies.

Sonny makes an excellent point, What does Arin truly gain for virtue signaling other than online pats on the back? Honestly what has Arin ever done to improve himself or GameGrumps as a whole literally since day one (besides becoming more politically correct for the sake of sponsors and money). Also based Veronica calling out a loser who has over 2 THOUSAND DOLLARS WORTH OF SKYLANDERS.

Something flew into my jewfro earlier today and I remembered Dan making a joke after the Game Grumps went to Disney World as a group and he thought the "PooPoo Song" was so fucking funny.

Turns out that song is called Hapa Duniani, which it turns out is the lord's prayer sung in Swahili. The phoenetic "PooPoo" does not occur in this song at all. Just another example of an ignorant white honkey trying to make a joke out of kangz and shiet.

Which leads me to further believe that these assholes are performatively woke and don't and never have given a fuck about anyone but themselves.

Interesting to hear JohnnyUtah openly rip on Arin like this. Back in the NG days it always felt like the site staff kind of stayed above the fray, but Arin's not exactly the NG poster boy he once was.

That's rich. Got a link? Arin got a lot of grief in certain circles but overall he got his dick gobbled 99% of the time. I imagine it also has something to do with him making a whole cartoon about how he'd never leave NG for Youtube and then doing exactly that.

While that is true, you must understand Sir Pelo made easily some of the softest "jabs" at that community possible. There was little reason for Arin to take offense to what was being said. Hell, other story time animators thought it was funny.

Don't get me wrong, he took offense too easily back in the day. If he was truly traumatized & bullied off NG it's because he was an easy target, symbolic of some of the most frustrating/irritating parts of NG culture, and I could see him taking shit personally that was really aimed squarely at the community.
