After looking at screenshots in the "SUPER FUN TORRID HAUL" thread, I tried hard to make sense of her internal anatomy, by figuring out where somewhere in that humongous fatty blob of a body her skeleton would sit.
And I just ...can't. Her body is so fucked it's hard to figure out where any part of her skeleton would sit. Especially in front views her massive gut/gunt/apron makes her torso look huge while making her legs look hideously/hilariously short.
I just know her legs/hip joints/knees/ankles must be under contant intense stress from both carrying that weight and being forced into odd angles.

That first one looks like her skeletal system is screaming, which is metaphorically accurate.
This is like some socially awake modern art exhibit. Just imagine a gallery wall with twenty photos of morbidly obese people with redline skeletons drawn over them. In the center of the room is a digital screen slideshow of their x-rays showing their actual skeletal structures.

The skellies of obese people do grow bigger and stronger as a response to carrying so much excess weight. It's not like some huge HULK difference, but still. That's one main reason why osteoporosis is almost unheard of in morbidly obese people, the thickening of bone (of course the other reason is because deathfats die so young... oop).

For anyone curious what amber would like as a normal fat or “regular” weight since it’s brought up so often. I cross referenced photos of her when she was young with what bone structure she had during the Krystle era, then matched it to her parents and brother the best I could.

I've been away for most of the summer, so please accept this terrible sketch of ALR on Pillow Mountain as recompense for my absence.
I'm no artist and by the time I got to the gay pride poster, I was out of fucks to give. Also, Amber's current physical form transcends the limits of my drawing abilities (and frankly, the laws of physics), so you'll have to forgive the fucked perspective and lack of detail on things like the black beetus knuckles.
Though I do think I nailed the overall vibe of misery, apathy, and general "fuck it"-ness that Amber seems to be giving off lately. When she said she was "too swollen" to get in the car recently, I knew I had to commemorate the official kick-off of the Bedbound Saga with a work of art.
