I know this question has been asked many times but: Troon-Chu when?

Even if you're usually right, you should still want people to criticize your positions because no one is always right and if you're being an idiot you should know so you can correct your behavior. These "trans allies" are completely okay with trans people believing outright lies such as the claim that trans people are in extreme danger of being murdered.

Which brings me to something that's bothered me but might be kind of tangential to this Chu tweet. Trans people are constantly told they're in danger of being assaulted and murdered, despite this being an absolute, provable lie. If you're worried about the high rate of trans suicide attempts, shouldn't you want trans people to not be wrongly terrified by the specter of hate crimes? What's more likely to make a trans person suicidal: Wrongly believing they're in constant danger of being murdered or some random conservative not using preferred pronouns?

People like Chu objectively think it's more important to maintain a false narrative than it is to prevent trans suicides

The troon death narrative is self-justification. The concept of trooning out is “finally I am my true self,” which (in theory) explains why they’re total failures pre-transition. The “we are in constant danger” justifies and compensates for being failures post-transition. No troon gives a shit about other troons unless they can make it about themselves somehow.
