This is the inevitable result when you get people who are obsessed with *looking* like they care about LGBT/nigger/spastic/whatever issues without *actually* caring about these issues.
Since they wish to be seen as the wokest and most stunningly brave snowflake of them all, they all jump on board the most extreme and radical sounding bandwagon they can find....but since they dont actually give a shit about the groups they claim to fight for and speak on behalf of, they have zero issue with championing shit that makes said groups look absolutely fucking horrible and which are either utterly unknown, desperately ignored, or actively resisted and despised by said groups for obvious fucking reasons.
I mean its not like Arthur Chu tier shitbags are going to face any direct/immediate negative consequences so why the hell should they care if the groups they use as props wind up in the firing line?
