Do you guys think article 13 is just a big advertisement for people to get a vpn? I mean, many people who live in countries that are in the EU frequently use the internet to watch YouTube, read news ETC. so article 13 just seems unknowingly from the politicians as one big ad for a vpn.

Any thoughts?

I read VPNs would just prevent your identity from being logged by the EU and counteract the privacy invading aspects of the laws. However it won't address the main problem of this piece of shit law that targets platforms that host content. So it's like @Jewelsmakerguy said, it would be a matter of if youtube/twitter/fb and the rest of them will bend to this or not, and if so to what extent.

They are going to make the internet impossible to operate in the EU. Don't want outside opinions to give the serfs ideas outside of their stature, after all.
