I know it's just based off old-fashioned cartoons, but Fallout's "Vault Boy Style" is one of my favorite things about the series. Even if it's just more animated shorts, I want to see them do more with it.

Katsuya Terada's art style is one I really enjoy. The guy did some art for a couple Japanese Wizardry titles but he also did art for Legend of Zelda that got published in Nintendo Power from what I heard. He also has done his own art that isn't tied to vidya.

He has his own artbooks that are sold on Amazon. I at least snagged one on the Wizardry game he was the artist for. I have no regrets in buying it outside of not knowing moon runes.

I don't really have a definite favourite art style, to be honest. I can note several artists, though.

Starting in the 19th century:

Moving on into the next century - Norman Rockwell's late serious stuff (starting in 1940s). His more well known humorous cover art pics for the Saturday Evening Post are quite meh in my opinion.

(he actually went to the USSR in the 70s)

His paintings for the Boy Scouts are examples of excellent propaganda.

Moving on into the present...
Yoji Shinkawa was already mentioned on the first page, so I'll omit him (his concept art for MGS games is top notch).

He's awesome. You should visit his website!

There's something about ukiyo-e that I've always found either beautiful or really cool. The simplistic or twisted way beings are usually depicted, combined with an attention to details elsewhere (the costumes for example), the variation in themes (and the apparent lack of boundaries of what can be shown or not) and so on.

Kuniyoshi and Yoshitoshi are my absolute favourites amongst the artists in the genre.

This is probably the only person who caught me in most recent years. Meme'y doge shit but also cute girls. I generally don't follow artists but when they aren't all stuck-up about how art dominated their life is, and can do doodle'y stuff, it's pretty nice. Think he does clothing too.

May just be because I 'grew up' on the internet around thick-lined stencil doodlers but the style grew on me. I can appreciate artists of old spending 20 years studying old paintings and statues to draw that stuff, but trying to mimic that style on top of fantasy settings is just so pompous to me.

Honestly i love 0r0ch1 art style, i don't really like his NSFW stuff but when he draws something safe, it looks alot better, even if it's a pony or furry related.

I also adore Paul Robertson, this dude is brilliant when it comes to pixel art.

There's a Russian artist named Alexander Seleznev who makes grimdark horror illustrations about Russia of the 1990s. They also remind me of STALKER and that "Mother Russia Bleeds" game a little bit.
I especially like how he imitates VHS distortion effects with Photoshop brushes.

I really like Jhonen Vasquez’s art style. Something about the thick lines and exaggerated facial expressions, while still being able to tell it’s the same character just intrigues me. (Spoiler not working)

reminds me of invader zim for some reason
To expand on what @TheClorax said, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac (which is what was shown) was a comic made by Vasquez that spawned two sequals, one called Squee. Someone who worked at Nickelodeon really liked Squee and offered him the opportunity to create his own show. And that's why Invader Zim was so incredibly fucked up sometimes.

On topic, the art in Blacksad is positively gorgeous, even if it is furry.

It's just so expressive and apt for the story that's being told. I love it. Normally I'm not a fan of this kind of look, but it just works here.

The best part? This artist, Juanjo Guarnido, also directed one of my favorite animated music videos of all time.

I have so many names and so many styles whose artists I'm blanking on the names of, but oh well.
