Did you ever stop to think that gates exist for a reason, Anna? The overwhelming majority of small-press games out there are shit, and a lack of playtesting is a major contributor to that.

Having to exist in a world where other people tell me 'no' is so oppressive! Give me money!
But you'd be getting in the way of their creativity, Wallace. They want ass-pats, not criticism from uppity CIS people. This makes me curious what their new romance game will be like.

It's such a snapshot of the most rabid variants of SJW mindsets. The most defensive, insecure, compensatory versions of this rhetoric. Looking at that couple and understanding how human relationships work, you know that they've probably been trying for quite some time; weeks and weeks and months and months of truly dedicated boinking, and now they're so happy that they're finally going to raise their child together, they couldn't help but use that happiness to spread a little humor along with the news. Even if you don't know them well enough to get hyped up that they're expecting, at least you could catch the humor of the joke, and through that be happy for them even if you don't really care.

What kind of joyless, unloved piece of festering human turd would go out of his/her/their/its way to spit venom at that? What manner of motivation does one need to become such an emotionally divorced quasi-human? We're doing the case study right now; it's these people right here.

I think there's an envy that matching genitals can't create babies and it's eating them alive.

Hide the name on that rant and it sounds like something coming out of the mouth of an incel.

Interestingly, Ash (unlike the incels) has a loyal spouse and kid (who she can't stand playing pretend with). Yet she still has that bitterness towards straight pairings.

While going through a bout of insomnia, I couldn't help thinking of Ash's rant on how having alternative genders and diversity makes your work more interesting and better. "Diversity" alone doesn't make your work interesting; interesting characters make things interesting. Take two Nosferatu from Vampire the Masquerade...

Tammy: A CIShet female who (along with her brother) were beaten by their parents back in a time when abuse was swept under the carpet (the 50s). The abuse driven the siblings "into each other's arms" and one beating too many caused them to burn down their house when their drunken parents inside it. Fascinated by this, their sire wanted to preserve their love and misery. With their parents' ghosts under their thrall, Tammy tries to protect other abused kids with tragic results. Eventually her brother died and is now a victim of the ghost-parents so now she also wants to find a way to fix this.

Rowan (I'm too lazy to look up the name so I'm going by memory): Non-binary transperson. Bullying for being too dark-skinned drove Rowan to having dysphoria until they decided to become a proud non-binary transperson who hangs out with burners. There is no explanation for why they were changed into a Vampire, but they're still proud to be non-binary trans and sees it as a new step for social change. Rowan has no schemes or plans other than to hang out with burners and only slightly knows one other Vampire. There is a "bat boy" rumor pinned to them, but nothing else.

Now tell me, which character would make your Vampire game more interesting if you had to choose one to be in it. I could also use Wacky Raceland as an example of how adding trans and gay characters (even if you have trans and gay people ok the writing) doesn't make your work more enlightened. "Queering up" your work is just a fancy garnish when you think about it.

Remember when Luke Lockhart crowdfunded his various surgeries, and they ended his anxiety over his gendered appearance for all of five minutes before it came back in spades?

Don't worry Anna, I'm sure that won't happen to you. Lopping off your boobs will magically make all of your anxiety and trauma disappear forever.
That's what I'm worried about. I wonder how long it will be until her vagina is causing problems.
