It is not unreasonable to request the record of peer review and to duck other people trying to audit and check that it is happening calls into question WORLDCOMP's validity as a reputable scholarly institution. That would be if they were reputable to beginwith
WORLDCOMP, Ashu Solo and Jonathan Bishop. David Harrison also makes the allegation that WORLDCOMP is responsible for spam emails, harassing phonecalls to researchers and publishing research without going through the process of peer review.

There are a number of websites purporting information about WORLDCOMP, with interesting information. They make a number of interesting claims. It is important to note that there is an entire industry that hack researchers and fledgling professors rely on because of the "publish-or-perish" paradigm which exists in academia. There are other implications of this paradigm but they aren't important here.



A researcher, Dr. John Levine actually received threats from Ashu because he outted this scandal.



Another Researcher Ralf Lammel also outted them on twitter and were emailed asking for offending material to be removed. Lammel changed his posts several times, and was asked to change them again and again. He finally sent out a request for any WORLDCOMP reviewer to reach out to him.

All this would explain why Jonathan Bishop has such a hate-boner for Retraction Watch, which he slagged on Crocels News several times.

He claims to have been a commissioned officer in the Canadian military. Unless he is completely and totally fabricating this, this would require him to have a bachelor's degree or at least have been in the process of working towards one.
 
I have found nothing referencing any secondary education for Mr. Solo.
Ashu, help us out, how does one do this without a higher education:
"Solo is the creator of multidimensional matrix mathematics and its subsets, multidimensional matrix algebra and multidimensional matrix calculus, all of which are published."
Sounds great. Maybe I can start a second career. Is there a "multidimensional matrix algebra and multidimensional matrix calculus," For Dummies?

There are photos on his facebook of him in military garb, so unless he's just cosplaying I can only assume he's real.

You can do this without a higher education because a higher education would tip you off that:
A matrix (itself capable of describing relations in any number of dimensions, it can have as many rows/columns as you like) has itself a dimensionality of 2 (it's a 2D array), and if he's defining them as an array with dimensionality of 3 or higher, they are referred to as 3rd (or higher) order tensors, which have been known for more than a century, along with their associated fields (tensor analysis).

I'm honestly at a loss trying to figure out what this ridiculous pseud claims to have invented, maybe I should attend his fraudulent conference to find out.

I'm not smart enough to figure out the scientific principles, but I think this invention includes putting rubber belts around each set of wheels on each side and letting the wheels turn the belt and therefore drive the vehicle. someone help me out with this. It sounds state-of-the-art cutting edge technology.
 
I just met Ashu Solo for the first time. Following a court hearing, while still in the courthouse, Mr. Solo and I had a conversation in the hall.
I'm happy to say I've had the wrong impression of Mr. Solo all along. He is a kind, decent, honest, well-dressed, individual.
He did say "ya wanna go outside?" At first I thought it was a threat but quickly realized it was merely an invitation to calmly discuss the issues some people might have about him. It was a nice chat.
What I didn't expect was that he is so good looking. Hunk, toned, tanned, and handsome. Good thing I'm a man, otherwise? Wow.
One thing was a bit upsetting, however, he made fun of my advancing Parkinson's disease and mental health problems. Considering Solo's and Bishop's advocacy on behalf of the disabled, for Solo to mock me in a public location for a disability I have no control over, is troubling.
Maybe a slip up? Or does Solo have other issues?

(a) I have no knowledge of the details of “the particular acts” requested by Mr. Solo. My information is limited to that provided to me by the individual identified in the following paragraphs.

(b) I have no knowledge of the specific details requested by Mr. Solo, only the unproven, allegations made by the source, Samantha Collingwood listed as follows:

  1. That Mr. Solo fraudulently claims credentials and experience in order to profit from those fake credentials.

  2. That Mr. Solo plagiarized the research and writings of academics and published those materials as his own.

  3. That Mr. Solo uses false names and internet websites for the purpose of profiting from his misrepresentation of his credentials and skills.

  4. That Mr. Solo mounted campaigns of lawsuits and legal threats designed to quiet anyone questioning his actions or claims.

  5. That Mr. Solo harassed the family and employers of individuals questioning Mr. Solo’s activities.

  6. That Mr. Solo harassed and confronted an employer of an unnamed individual critical of Mr. Solo, threatening that employer and yelling anti semitic insults at that employer.

  7. That Mr. Solo bullies his detractors by using the publications of Mr. Solo’s partner Jonathan Bishop, Swansea, Wales to post articles on Mr. Bishop’s Crocel’s News, portraying Mr. Solo’s detractors in a negative light.

  8. That Mr. Solo made racist remarks disparaging Ms Collingswood’s European heritage.

  9. That Mr. Solo diverted funds intended for an organization called WorldComp to himself and his Welsh partner, Jonathan Bishop via Mr Bishop’s publishing website Crocel’s News.

  1. The source of my information is an individual identifying herself as Samantha Smith Collingwood.

  2. I did not know of Samantha Smith Collingwood before she contacted me and have not had contact with her since our October 14, 2017 meeting.

  3. October 13, 2017, Samantha Smith Collingwood telephoned me stating she had allegations concerning Mr. Solo. Ms. Collingwood heard I was researching allegations against Mr. Solo in an attempt to separate the true from the false.

  4. I met Ms Collingwood October 14, 2016, at a Bar and Grill, . We spoke for approximately 2 hours.

  5. October 15, 2016, I emailed questions to Mr Solo’s partner and publisher Jonathan Bishop, requesting comments on the validity of these allegations. Mr. Bishop did not respond.

  6. Without confirmation of the allegations against Mr. Solo I abandoned my enquiries of these issues.

Dated at this 7th day of December, 2017.

Long time reader and I finaly decided to join on the fun. I didn't know which cow choosing for my first post among you (YandereDev ? Rebecca ?...). In the end I choose Ashu Solo because as a maths researcher I really almost die laughing reading some of Ashu's research papers :biggrin:

I was really intrigued by the "multidimensional matrix" he was so proud of and with a little help of google I finaly managed to read what it was all about... it was the most incredible bullshit I ever read. In the good way.
It was really a fascinating read. He didn't invent anything. At all. It's just regular matrices all in all, he didn't even realize how pointless his notations are and how it makes literaly no difference at all with regular matrices.

The only possible interresting fact about his research paper is... something already used in maths since at least the last century called "Block matrices".

It's really... sad he didn't even realize how pointless and stupid all of this theory is.
He is as much a mathematician as I am a marathon runner.
