1) Does your mother have a local group of African women to socialize with, and if not does she wish there was such a group?
2) How are your relationships with extended family?
3) Do you practice any religion/traditions from either side of your family?

1) It depended a lot since we frequently moved around, in some places there was a larger African diaspora than others. Even though right now she has settled in a small primarily white neighborhood, she has kept close contact with a lot of her African friends over the years, so I think she's doing fine
2) Pretty good on my dad's side, less so on my mom's side because they live miles away, but still pretty decent.
3) Both my mother and father are christian (catholic). I kinda got sucked into the atheism sphere and grew out of it, my parents didn't really mind as long as I'd still go to church with them occassionally.

My grandparents on my mom's side were already dead (shithole country), on my dad's side they were pretty chill with it when they met my mom.
