3.How do I avoid getting stabbed and mugged by gypsies, I had a friend who went to Italy and got mugged in rome by gypsies. So considering how many gypsies are in Romania I want to be extra careful.
I am not a good tourism guide, wouldn't really know what to recommend cause there's just too much stuff around and lots of it I haven't seen myself.
But to avoid the gypsies and stealing:
- don't parade your wealth around
- don't leave your phone unattended, like on a restaurant table while you go take a pee
- no expensive jewels and clothes to single you out as a rich tourist
- lock hotel doors, car doors; don't leave cameras, phones etc. visibly in your car. Use common sense, park on well travelled spots.
- don't fall for people that might try to sell you shit or scheme you, smile politely and ignore

The ironically guy is a Serbian part Hungarian who moved to Romania.

He makes funny but not untrue meme videos and generally explains Balkans insanity.

Also the designated gay country is Slovenia, not Bulgaria.

I agree. I live in the same country and people overblow the gypsy problem. They are mostly in Train Stations or places where are foreign tourists. Don't forget to not give money to anybody, even if you feel mercy for them. The state should help these people already.

How do your average Romanian feel about slavs? Do they consider themselves Wallachian slavs, or ROMVS ETERNALVS? I heard on the net that many slavs think they are the Uncle Ruckuses of the Slav family, but that was on the internet so take it with a grain of gypsy tears.

@AgendaPoster Do you believe it's fair that your country annexed half of the thousand year old Kingdom of Hungary?
Mostly yes.
It was populated by a majority of Romanians, who were always kept politically impotent by Austria-Hungary and the Kingdom, and treated like scum. Dozens of peasant uprisings and rebellions were crushed mercilessly and their leaders publicly tortured in the most gruesome ways.
The resentment the Romanian population felt for the occupying empires is impossible to be described in words.
Empires simply need to be broken apart. Far too dangerous and destabilizing, far too friendly to hereditary aristocracy which is always corrupt, far too multicultural, far too oppressive for the subjugated populations.
The EU and its borders corrosion is the best for this old conflict. I can pass with just my ID card in Hungary whenever I wish and Hungarians can do the same. Transylvanian populations are highly mixed. In time the remaining Harghita and Covasna bastions of remaining Hungarian culture will be absorbed and assimilated into this everchanging mix, which is not really Romanian nor Hungarian, just East/Central European.

What are your favorite things about the Roma and how can Romanian society be more inclusive to gypsies?
They're highly tribal and exclusionary of foreigners. They self-segregate most often, but the richer of them tend to fuck things up by buying historical property or central, old houses, which drives the Romanians away from the area.
I don't think they wanna be included in our society, which they probably dislike enough to stay away from it. They'll probably keep segregating and building enclaves.

Gypsoid, how often does this happen in your shithole?

Hey Agenda Poster,

I know you are familiar with Boyd Rice. Have you listened to Boyd Rice Presents Music from the Legionari Movement? Are you countryman familiar with such fare today, or the music from the Iron Guard?

Nope, but I will listen to it if I find it. I did listen to some songs in their original form, found online. The communist era worked real, real hard to erase all traces of the IG past, persecuted its members, hunted them down. Luckily, the National Communism that was imposed was also nationalism. More like an internecine conflict between two flavors of ethnonationalism, one Christian and openly anti-Semitic/pro-Nazi/fascist, and another covertly anti-Semitic, Marxist and secular. Complicated.
The Iron Guard is kinda illegal in Romania. Its symbols are for sure, same is true for making parties that are fascist, nazi or communist. However...
- the symbols survive on street graffiti and they are rather ubiquitous in large cities. I've seen flyers and graffiti with anything from the sneaky "different" sign =/= to "One struggle" flyers with Palestinian kids throwing rocks at Jewish tanks, full with Iron Guard symbols on it.
- each time a right wing party appears, its ideology inevitably veers towards that of the Guard, it's quite comical to witness. The libs get triggered and unearth all sorts of old connections etc., funny shit
Sadly, most people that are composing these parties are heavily anti-intellectual and hence estrange the intellectual elites almost immediately, and have nothing to replace them with.
