Don't forget..... poisonous.
There is a saying: "Fiction has to be believable. Reality does not."
He's not really bringing any decent information can we turn on this snitch already like we did for Anna and Rani and Devi and all the others?

Nigga don't make me gut you like a perch while having a bullet hole in my vagina of the soul
Sorry, this will have to wait. My panorama lens camera is in the shop. Not if he posts a dick pic.
To answer both questions, I'm too trusting of the inherent good nature of humanity (insofar as "humanity" describes Phil). On the other hand, when (and yes, I seriously doubt it's an "if") things go sour with Phil, the forum gets a whole bunch of screencaps.Man, if half of the shit that you said you've experienced is true, you are a real magnet for lunatics. Understandable that even Phil would seem like no big deal in comparison. Not trying to be accusatory here, but do you think there's anything about yourself that's drawn these kinds of people and situations to you? Why involve yourself with Phil again, particularly in an amicable manner or in hopes of somehow helping him?
I'd link the start of Phil's downfall with his growing rise on DeviantArt. As his need for online approval outstripped his interest in offline approval, his behavior became more and more outrageous. So I think the internet played the largest role in what he has become.Hi Dusty. Couple of questions here. Firstly, do you believe there is any specific point at which Phil became 'doomed', so to speak, to his current situation? And if so, what was the point of no return? Were there any events that, had they not occurred, could have put Phil on a different path? And who, or what, do you think played the biggest role in Phil becoming who he is today.
So it's an entirely charitable venture? I'm not trying to dissuade you here, I'm just wondering why you'd want to bring the aggravation on yourself. Particularly after avoiding the guy for so long. Whether Phil becoming a functional member of society is a "win" is debatable - mostly because whether that would even be possible can barely even be called debatable, it's so far-fetched - but even if it were possible, it's not really anyone's responsibility to improve his life besides his own.To answer both questions, I'm too trusting of the inherent good nature of humanity (insofar as "humanity" describes Phil). The longer it goes on, the larger the stockpile of golden eggs, so why kill the goose prematurely? The only way Phil can win this situation is by actually becoming a better person and getting his life together. For the rest of the world, I view this as win-win. (I realize that Phil becoming a functional member of society would not be a "win" according to this forum, let us agree to disagree.)
Agreed, and in various conversations, including with Phil, I've been repeating "Only Phil can fix Phil" a lot. However, Phil is patently incapable of making good decisions, and I'm not sure the "therapy" I hear he goes to is any help in that regard. Honestly, I'm amazed it's lasted this long, because I'm not being "nice." To an extent, what I'm getting out of this is that I'm venting a lot of things I wanted to say then, or since, but was too "nice" or that he wouldn't listen to. I'm not being needlessly cruel, but I'm hardly being tactful either. I've told him flat out that if he wants to be irrational or blame other people for his problems, I'm walking. I fully expected to be shut out the first time I told him something he was doing was pointless or self-destructive, and we'd all have a good laugh about it, but he's not. It's slightly surreal, I don't think anyone has ever seen this behavior from him, and at this point I kind of want to see how the ride ends. And if he crashes and burns, it's all on him and I'll be first in line to point and laugh. So it's an entirely charitable venture? I can't say this thread has revealed much except Dusty seems to be seeking asspats, too.
Toward the beginning of the year, everyone was still patient and tolerant. Toward the end of the year, when his behavior was getting absurd, the insults were more... factual. Things one would not normally find insulting, but pissed Phil off to no end, for example one young woman got pissed and pointed at him sing-songing "YOU live in New JER-sey! YOU live in New JER-sey!" Which was obviously true, and we all did, but it upset him immensely because he wanted to pretend he was a Mexican ex-patriate living in Canada or some shit.Did anyone IRL make potato jokes about Isaphil?
Only through DeviantArt. He did most of his drawing at home, because he didn't have the internet there and used it to pass the time. At school he tried to be more social and interact with people, usually Corrie or me.Did he ever try to show you his road signs and prefecture maps?
