Honestly, that's true. I hadn't thought of that.
I don't have an account or codes myself, but I was hoping someone could give me one, so I could give invites to others.
But maybe whoever owns the site should just give batch invites to KF users. They have a Twitter account for the site, but it's completely empty.
I edited the original post to include what you just said.

My understanding is ip addresses actually dont matter that much in the grand scheme of things. At worst if you're truly paranoid get a VPN. You should be fine though as long as you avoid fedposting.

And in the event their is another 2018/19 hack (can't remember when, I was just a lurker), the best you can do is just reset your ip Addy. Be a faggot but within reason

Long winded post just to say yes I want an invite if possible

Mine says I'm downtown by a court house. 13 miles off.

It's not much like the olden days when someone could easily track down your very specific house just by using your public IP.

So does KF. It also occasionally has troons. Also people should be using paid VPNs anyway btw.

True. I always use a VPN to access the Farms anyway.
The only concern is that someone could figure out what your KF account is through the invite.
But as long as you're not putting any personal information on your KF account, then I guess that also doesn't matter.

Another IP address detail: most VPNs don't give you a dedicated outbound IP address these days, so you'll share a given IP with possibly hundreds of other customers. This is a great detail to remember if you happen to live in a country that likes to prosecute people for their haram thoughts.

In fact, a lot of ISPs use CGNAT, which means you are also possibly sharing your real IP with possibly a hundred other customers as well. Someone has to correlate the outbound port with the precise time it was used.

All the above requires a court order however and is unlikely to be used unless you're fedposting. The strongest move you actually have to preseve your privacy is to ensure you use a totally different handle and email address to the one you use here (hint: simplelogin.io). Don't even use a joking similar name - for example I wouldn't call myself 'luminence' somewhere else. I also suggest a name like 'glow' because it's hard to google.
