I feel Talk To Staff is a bit too stuffy for some people feeling comfortable asking small or simple questions to moderators, and I also believe there could be some more levity between staff and users.

Try to avoid using this to interrogate about moderation decisions, like "Why was I banned?" since that's something that genuinely should be handled in Talk To Staff. Threads posted there will be treated with more urgency and seriousness. Generally.

Use this thread to ask us questions, serious or not, and we'll answer them accordingly to whimsy.

I mean, we do have some vetting in place. And when I was recruited you had to be at least generally literate. If I recall, many applications were rejected because they were incoherent.

I actually have a confession to make: When he initially started asking Sneedchat for stories of you abusing your power, I told him you once double posted and were therefore a dangerous menace that needed to be stopped just to fuck with him. He posted it to his weird website when he got banned.

I recall there being a bit of a slow-down in the "main" girlcow section in the lead-up to Null slamming them together, also something about some active BP users leaving at the time (and then coming back?), did BP die too much for Mr Moon's liking or something?

my personal opinion is BP is very unfriendly and hard to take part in. I've been having good time lately and now girls are back to negrating me for no apparent reason. I don't care much about my reaction score, but it's kinda annoying when people negrate your smart posts without trying to debate you at all. And yes I don't see the point in keeping two bp lolcow subforums. Just look at the BP and how many threads there are without replies in the last month.

Obviously dm chains are even more hostile, but if they die out it's good for KF.
