I feel Talk To Staff is a bit too stuffy for some people feeling comfortable asking small or simple questions to moderators, and I also believe there could be some more levity between staff and users.

Try to avoid using this to interrogate about moderation decisions, like "Why was I banned?" since that's something that genuinely should be handled in Talk To Staff. Threads posted there will be treated with more urgency and seriousness. Generally.

Use this thread to ask us questions, serious or not, and we'll answer them accordingly to whimsy.

IIRC it is not allowed to DM people unless you give them permission (either by commenting in the "DM me permission megathread" or saying so in a post). Posting on people's profile uninvited won't get you in trouble. Posting on people's walls is farmer culture. It let's people tell you you're cool or post funny pictures.

That's only for mass DM group bullshit where gay retards would add a hundred strangers to a group to try to roleplay with them. You can still send people DMs if you're not a faggot about it.

How does one get the signature to appear below my avatar like everybody else? In my profile settings it says "about"...but that's not it. I added something real quick as a test to see if it came up. Needless to say it didn't. Do you have to be a member for X amount of time or some thing before it's possible or am I just an idiot and can't figure out how how to do it? Thank you mod!

What is the mod consensus on sticker sperging? One of the individuals who has a raging little hate boner for me is becoming active in that realm again.

We turn off sticker privileges for a month or two for them. It's a trivial matter with an equally trivial solution since stickers don't do anything anyway.

I know some people liked my posts about certain topics like Luigi Mangione, the Charlie Kirk shooting and the like and I enjoy writing them. I've been thinking of making a thread in A&H somewhere where I just write Substack-like detailed opinion pieces/analysis on news and happenings except it's on the funny lolcow forum instead of somewhere actually respectable. As far as I'm aware we've never been asked to ban anyone before. He would just do it himself.

Manual bans are uncommon anyway unless it's some bot or spam account. If a person gets banned from a moderator action, it's because their warning points hit the cap.

They don't do anything and yes you can. I believe it's the "awards" tab on profiles.

Are you allowed to ban the spergatory-lolcows (special guests)? I thought they are protected species and can't be banned/tempbanned. Ngl slungus deserved his tempban but I'm surprised.
