Ask @WelperHelper99 about mormon shit - Cope and Seethe edition

I'd have to imagine that soaking isn't a real thing as much as it's an excuse for Mormon colleges not to expel people for having sex because keeping track of that causes problems and probably kicks out too many people. Rather than saying they're having sex they just say they soaked and it's technically not something they have to kick you out for even though everyone knows what's really going on.

"Soaking" and the related "jump humping" are pretty well-known, even if nobody ever admits to having done it personally. It went viral on Tik Tok recently, has been reported in the media and even has its own Wikipedia entry. It is often cited as happening at BYU, a Mormon school with supposedly Mormon students.

Mormons always deny that it's real or even that they have ever heard of such a thing. But there is at least one documented case in Mormon history:

In 1885, one of the LDS Church's top leaders, 73-year-old apostle Albert Carrington, argued during the hearings before his excommunication that his decade of extramarital sexual relationships with multiple younger women did not count as adultery (a violation of the church's Law of Chastity) and was just a "little folly" because he would only partially penetrate the vagina with just the tip of his penis and part of the shaft (reportedly to less than the total "depth of four inches"), and pulled out before ejaculation.
🤔

Imagine trying to deny this instead of embracing being proud tipping tippers

Oh, so fermented things are out? Why is that? Glad you can have at least herbal tea, sometimes you need a hot drink.
We don’t have that book chain, alas. Enjoy your holidays!
This is a little late, but I’ve never heard of fermentation being the reason why tea is banned. The exact wording in the word of wisdom is no hot drinks and is interpreted as tea and coffee. It didn’t start out as a commandment either, meaning it could be announced literally at anytime that that part is now over. The reason I’ve heard that I agree with the most is that God has always had a diet that He wants people to follow and the way He has always blessed us humans is when we follow commandments given to us, so it’s just a way to show our devotion to Him. In much the same way other religions restrict certain foods

Really I think it comes down to symbolism. You gave something up in a show of faith, even if it never comes back around, because you Love God. I only answered fermented because I thought that was logical. I wasn't thinking spiritual at the time.

You should try giving up your virginity

My husband and brother-in-law keep wondering about this, so I might as well ask for them. What's the deal with the green Jell-O shit? I honestly don't get it.

What did Joseph Smith allegedly do to merit getting lynched by a mob? Or for Missouri to declare Total Mormon Death?

Basically, he was a well-known scam artist who claimed magic rocks helped him find buried treasure, he regularly stole other men's wives and he lied his ass of about just about everything, most of all his blatantly nonsensical "translations" of various documents that he used to concoct his own religion.

For sources and more detailed descriptions of all this, I recommend the website Mormon Stories and their articles about Smith. They also talk about his "magic" scams and his alleged "translations" and the problems with them.

But in summary, those were the good ol' days and back then if you got caught lying your ass off about religion, we killed you for it. Now days you just get a pink triangle on Kiwi Farms.

They called him and us liars. Pure religious hate. And in the end they invaded the jail he was at and killed him. Such "justice". There were also a ton of women and children killed during the evacuation from Missouri.

Ah, but I noticed you didn't deny any of the allegations that he practiced magic, scammed people, had promiscuous sex or mistranslated documents. 🤔

I don't need to, they're nothing but propaganda that lead to many, many deaths of not just Joseph Smith, but women and children from butchering mobs. They hated him because he told the truth. Shut the fuck up on things you know nothing about.
