Elon Musk replied to Mark Kern's post about Hasan Piker shilling for Assassin's Creed Shadows, calling Hasan a fraud.

Well, I guess at least one good thing can be said about Musk in that, at least in this instance, he is right about this DEI wokeslop.

I think regardless of political affiliation, we can all agree on this.

"Our game is out."
I think releasing a shitty unfinished game is worse than just not releasing a game, actually.

But hey, have fun getting fired for sperging on the company account though. I'm sure the internet updoots were worth it.

The plot to Resistance Fall of Man was that the Tunguska meteor was actually the beginning of an alien invasion (the aliens, consuming all in their path under one hive mind, metastasizing in Russia, likely being an allegory for the spread of Communism).
isn't this like, verbatim the plot to one of the X-Files' main arcs

Assassin's Creed Xitter page is now defending Hasan from Grummz and Elon Musk.

I think if there ever was a question that the staff at Ubisoft is part of the problem why they make shitty history revisionism games, the official Twitter account sperging out like a little woke snowflake should put that discussion to rest.

Gas chamber of all involved in that Twitter thread would be ideal.

Make Tesla an assassin and Edison a Templar. Have their rivalry be another proxy war between the Assassins and Templars.
Current Ubisoft would reveal that Tesla was actually a black woman who used Nikola as a proxy - played by Deborah Wilson.
And They'd make Edison even more villainized.

Dream come true publicity for Ubisoft. Grummz is no one to normies but Musk has sky high negatives. People will buy this stupid game because he’s shitting on it.
Pressing like on an ubisoft post is more effective and cheaper for them. They're too busy rubbing their assholes on tesla car doors to buy a shitty overpriced game.

Hypothetically speaking, how much do you have to spend to buy Ubisoft right now?
Considering how much debt the company is in, around 2 billion. They've been at a loss for around a decade, and they haven't been able to get out of the hole yet.

Shadows was supposed to be their giant hail-mary last attempt at a gangbuster success. At the rate they were going before they would've hit bankruptcy in about 2 years, but if Shadows eats shit then it could be by the end of this year.

I don't think people really get HOW fucked Ubisoft is. Like, people have a general idea of their stock going down the shitter and their games being bad, but I want to make it absolutely clear that Ubisoft is genuinely a doomed company from a purely financial standpoint. They haven't made a net profit in years, are in more debt than what their company is worth, and have been in talks with Microsoft and Tencent about selling off their most famous IPs like Assasssin's Creed for over a year, and that's if they aren't bought outright by a big enough corpo which is also a real possibility.

Even if Shadows magically becomes a billion dollar smash success (it won't) they cannot save themselves from not existing within the next 5 years. Even the most generous estimates think they'll become insolvent by 2027 at the latest. It's a sinking ship and the people gloating about muh 2 gazillion players and the Shadows xitter account calling Grummz gay are so culture-war-brained that they genuinely think this isn't just the thrashing of a dying animal.

There is no victory for Ubisoft here. They cannot save themselves. They're just trying to make a quick buck on the way out the door.
