Assassin's Creed thread

I'm honestly shocked they left in some of the more blatantly offensive shit. They were already getting shit over a year ago just from having Japanese people bowing to Yasuke, and claiming he was a real samurai. But instead of doing mild course correction, they kept in the black guy fucking one of the most important females in the Sengoku period, who is an ancestor of the Imperial Family, and have a mission where your raid the Imperial Tomb.

Why did they do this? This is some next-level spite. It'd be one thing to do this to some white culture, because Ubisoft is full of soyboys and trannies, but why Japan, and why now when Tencent is trying to do a hostile takeover of them?

I love how none of these dumb freaks can ever, ever, EVER introduce themselves simply and plainly on social media ("Hello, my name is X") and act like the most stereotypical "artistes" you could imagine.
Because they'll claim to be a victim if anyone mocks it and get asspats from their online pals. Same reason they'll openly post their positions at the company they work for and then complain about criticism as if people went through the game credits and linkedin to find them.

25k is absolutely fucking grim. Barely beating Skyrim's numbers.
The real test is going to be over the weekend, but if it's barely hitting 25k today, I don't expect it to top Veilguard numbers come Saturday.

Veilguard looked like rancid shit and was part of a moribund franchise that hadn't seen a new game since 2014, and it still managed to hit 77,000 concurrent players on day 1.

Ubisoft's flagship game series can barely manage a third of that.

You might have had a point if today was Friday. One additional day will just dilute the numbers.
edit: oh my God I'm fucking choking over here

Seriously, even from the very first game, the AI was retarded and that was over twenty years ago. What the hek attracts people to this garbage?
thats a meme, its actually has gotten much worse, the AI could parkour and would chase you forever if you tried to run and by black flag was having multiple enemies attack you at the same time. the unity fuck up meant their peak game with the best AI and missions and multiplayer was seen as "the wrong direction" and they decided to do this instead.

If this were any other game I'd say that's some funny input cancel shenanigans but I'm not unconvinced this is default in-game animation.

It’s cooked. It didn’t help it released on steam sale going on right now where the main page is a mess and there is ten million cheaper better games out at the moment.

It’s comical, really. Fucked story that sucks. Constant outrage. Controversial gameplay. Then, bam, even fucking up the launch.

Should be a rule to future companies. Never let a fat chick write anything and never have a niggerfag try to be your main selling point.

Ubisoft hates white people and Japanese are white enough. They're trying to do what they did to European history to Japanese history now, except unlike cucked whites, Japanese aren't having it.
Oh, this game couldn't have come around at the worst time. Gaming historians are going to have a blast laughing their assess off on how willingly Ubisoft walked over that cliff.

Used goods & daddy issues, it looks like. Fujo too, judging by the gay romances.

There is evidence of Ubisoft botting their player numbers on Steam so we have to assume the actual player numbers are even lower

They moved the release date so they wouldn't have to compete with KCD2, Monster Hunter and Avowed(lol). Now ,they have to compete with ten million better(read: older) games instead.
lol, lmao even. This has to be some sort of cosmic justice in play.

Steam sale dates are announced half a year in advance. The date of the 2025 Spring sale and other events for the first half of 2025 were published in July 2024. It's not cosmic justice, it's retards bashing their heads against a wall.
