I think what's funny is that it was mentioned in past chapters that there was another idea of partial rumbling. The idea that the rumbling would be used strategically to destroy specific targets (ex. World's armies gathering in Marley and even Marley itself), cause less civilian deaths, use less wall Titans, shows that Eldians are not to be messed with anymore, and most importantly was a deterrence to hostile nations who would dare to attack Paradis.

The plan was the most logical to begin with as it wouldn't cause less tremendous amount of destruction to what is happening now. It allowed a chance for people within Paradis to modernize itself and also a chance for some diplomacy to other nations.But for some reason as time went on the plan was abandoned by Eren because the world was seen as unforgiving and cruel towards Eldians and everyone wants them dead.

There was simply no need for Eren go commit total genocide as there were other logical options that would have save his home and his friends without destroying everything in the process. But he has to choose the worse one, due to reasons that are hard to believe and we may have to see in future chapters.

Pretty much. As for Titan's becoming outdated, there are ways around that. You could, you know, just fucking cripple the entire continent, steal their tech and send them back into the fucking stone age for a few decades while Paradis builds up its military strength. Like, just wipe out all their fighting forces, have Paradis soldiers come in, steal all their technology, and leave. Blow up their power plants, their industry, their universities. All their equipment. Just fucking cripple them for 50+ years. Make it so it'll take at least a century to catch up to where they actually were.

Force civilians to evacuate cities and just crush all the buildings in them. Destroy infrastructure. With these titans, there are a metric fuckton of ways you can basically cripple Marley for over a century while you advance faster than they do. And even when they catch back up, they're only back at their current levels, so they can't destroy titans easily. There is absolutely no need to kill all of them. You can also just leave the colossal Titans around and just start smashing whatever they're building. Just leave them in the dark ages for a couple of hundred years and when you've got fighter jets and nukes, they've got flintlocks, you can recall the colossal titans and make sure they never develop anything that can hurt you again. It doesn't take a fucking genius to work around a 'don't kill the entire world' plan. And this is one extreme way to do it. Eren can quite easily reset the clock on all of the main continent's technology by strategic targeting, crippling them basically forever so that Paradis overtakes them and makes it impossible for the contient to dominate them. He could also cause division on the mainland itself by destroying farms in one nation but not another, invoking resource scarcity, so Marley is in a constant state of civil war over basic supplies, too busy to deal with Paradis, let alone colossal titans. And these are just BASIC military tactics when you have tactical weapons (Colossal Titans). Would he still be committing war crimes? Yes. Would he cause a lot of casualties? Sure. But its a lot fucking better than pure genocide.

The only reason is because Isayama made everyone on Marley a raging lunatic universally to try and somehow provide the most minimal justification for Eren's plans.

Eren's plan is mind numblingly retarded and was a waste of several years of 'mystery' while every single character stagnated except for Eren himself. Who I can no longer muster any fucks about since he's so fucking stupid his only plan was genocide.

Doesn't help Erwin is a mentally deranged man who only cares for confirming his father's theories. Erwin is intentionally meant to be someone who is a destructively selfish person, which is why he chose to die since he realized how fucked up he was and wanted to do a suicide charge to at least help out his allies.

To be fair the crying bitch eren was a flashback from a few years ago. Before the first Marley arc even. The "you're all slaves" thing was later when he'd gotten over it and steeled his resolve, and the last we've seen of him chronologically was a two page spread of angry face when he psychically told everybody he was gonna kill them. We see him again in the most recent chapter's last page but he's not making an expression. I think we're still dealing with "idgaf kill em all" Eren, the chapter just makes the chronology confusing.

If he actually does start crying and says he's sorry when they confront him in the present day, then I'm gonna... I'm gonna... I dunno, look down and shake my head in disappointment? If says he was wrong too I'll personally swim to japan so I can spit on Isayama. My hope is that when they confront him, he cuts the edgelord act for a minute and calmly opens up to them since it's too late to go "grr I hate you go away". Something like Marley arc hobo Eren but he's not manipulating them or trying to fuck with them like Falco and Reiner respectively. They have that talk Armin thought would fix everything. But mutual understanding, love, and compassion doesn't change things. Eren does what he's gonna do and they either powerlessly watch him do it, or stop him somehow. "see you around eren" leads me to believe they'll stop him partway through.

They all clap for him last episode of Evangelion style while he fucks Petra Isabel and Nifa at the same time. Erwin and Kenny walk on screen holding a a giant novelty "smartest midget in the world" diploma with Levi's name on it and both give him a big "that's my boy" smile.

I think he knew how he was going to end it, that being Eren unrepentantly, and mercilessly straight up killing everyone, but he pussed out due to backlash and/or executive meddling, and now he doesn't know what to do.

Off-topic, and I know I've harped on about this before, but I still can't get over how Isayama managed to take Eren, a character that had every right to turn out the way he has, and still make him feel like a stupid whiny brat throwing a tantrum.

Eren's has been traumatized, abused, mistreated, and used as a tool his entire life, found out that that literally the entire world hates his race, was, and has been holocausting them for the last two-thousand years over some fucking pigs, on top of him being born fucking crazy, and inherently violent, and bloodthirsty, and yet, he still somehow manages to feel like some stupid, pretentious, and nihilistic fourteen-year-old's edgy, emo, OC, whose motivations and backstory, despite being completely justified, still manage to give off the exact same feeling as this:
