I've said it before and I'll say it again...

I only watched the first two seasons of the AOT anime and was going to read the manga but got distracted and eventually lost interest.

Now I thank my lucky stars every day that I did, because I dodged a huge fucking bullet.

Also, Isayama needs to lay off the PCP.
Anyone who read it past the moment they got distracted from the Answer Basement deserves what they got.

I was surprised that Reiner made it out alive but I really shouldn't have been considering Reiner is Isayama's favorite character.

That being said... since there are no more titans, does this mean that the effects of titan shifting won't kill Reiner, Pieck, Armin, etc?

Pretty much since there was a 3 year timeskip at the end of the series and both Reiner, Annie, Pieck had 2 years left before so it shows they're all fine.

I didn't mind the shift to WWII fanfic, it felt organic enough and the differences in technology explained the island's isolation.
I enjoyed the political aspect up until the rumbling was actually initiated. At that point it was all or nothing but we got "mostly" and no actual benefits.

Yeah, Titan cancer isn't a thing and they have all normal lifespans now

I like horror and once the horror aspect was removed I kind of lost interest completely. I kept following to see where it was going and I was NOT disappointed

I never got into the series because it seemed kinda influenced by the zombie craze going on at the time, and I've never liked zombies. But I probably would have gotten into the series if it leaned more into the mystery and horror, and played with the concept of titans more. It was kinda cool to see the titan forms that people had, and it would be neat if there was a larger divergence.

It really is

Dude could control the flow of time and can't even get pussy. I'm sure if I could fucking go back and forth through time I could fuck ScarJo, even if it took me a thousand years. Eren has this power and what does he do? Kills his fucking mom.

Fuck, I was right again when everyone in this manga was retarded. The only thing I was wrong about was that Eren was the most retarded one in the end.

EDIT:
In retrospect, when he was shouting "THIS IS THE ONLY WAY" to Hange, he's basically shouting "THIS IS THE ONLY WAY I CAN GET MIKASA TO FUCK ME, I SAW IT" which makes it x10000 funnier.

Just think about how hilarious that is. All his planning was so he could figure out how to fuck his sister. All those people that followed him and died were following a dude who killed his mom, started this whole problem and just wants to bang his sister more than anything.

If you look at everything he does through the lens of just wanting Mikasa, the whole fucking story becomes a dark comedy. Honestly, shit, something like that could actually work if you wrote it like the old Greek tales or like Shakespeare. Like some serious complexes. For which there is no evidence that Eren has at all.

That'd be cool. But you'd need knowledge of actual literature, not just capeshit and popculture trash to write it.
Destroy the world just so you could bone your "sister" just like Thanos trying to destroy almost everything just so he could bone Death.

This is why as a rule I never start an ongoing series. If it's finished and looks promising, I binge it all.
If it's good and ends in a satisfying manner, that's just wonderful. If it's shit or ends in absolute shit, at best I wasted 1-2 days and I can live with the fact that I got assfucked for that time period.
But, being ass fucked for close to 12years on a monthly basis, that's a lot of clapping that my cheeks can't handle.
On a related note, I really dread the finale of Berserk, if it will ever come to fruition. But, then again, the collective meltdown might just be really funny to watch. I would definitely be among those that chimp out.

I've already come to the understanding that Berserk will never end. And even if it does, I've realized it's no longer the same manga, everything from art to story seems different from its peak.
That's another thing that's shitty with chapter 139 in Attack on Titan. The art and writing is really subpar. People have been posting pages from just ten chapters ago, and there it seems every fourth page or so is a spread with lots of detail. 139 just seems like it got shit out in a hurry

The thing with Berserk is that he's taken so many breaks and had such poor health its going to be really hard for him to finish it as he's envisioned. I kind of feel bad in that respect as its really not his fault, he's just had shitty luck. Its going to be hard to find a satisfying ending after all of this time so I think everyone is expecting either A) Beserek to never end or B) An unsatisfying conclusion. If he can pull off a mediocre one, I think that'd be enough to call it a success.
I will say one good thing about Isayama, he's made me appreciate Code Geass a hell of a lot more.
Well, at Lelouch 'dies' and then goes on to a simple life as a farmer, except he doesn't get cucked by one.

At least Lelouch didn't kill his mother so he could fuck Nunnally.
I mean, I think the Lelouch shit is stupid, I think his main motivation should have been wanting to lead a simple life and trying to find out how to do it without fucking up the world and leaving behind a decent legacy and it was simply the only thing he could come up with, because he's not the God of Causality and is just a dude.

And lol, Lelouch is leagues better than fucking Eren.

I can't believe I've been missing out on this train wreck of a series. I had heard a few things in passing, and it usually concerned the batshit fans (lol shippers) and the author being a dipshit. But I never knew the writer's twists and turns were this lulzy. The amount of ass pain caused by this finale is a thing of beauty. Kudos to the OP for keeping this shit show updated.

I eagerly await the revival of the series when Eren rallies the birds to go full on Elliot Rogers and renews the cycle of war and death.

Honestly, he should just stick to AoT high school or whatever because it seems like he genuinely enjoys writing it more and not whatever AoT is. It also fits his style more because he could just write whatever he feels because that sort of style lends itself to that writing, instead of drama or horror or a serial.

I'm perfectly fine with however Berserk ends in all honesty, if it ends at all. I already 100% got my enjoyment out of that story.

Besides, it seems like Miura knows the direction he wants to take it with it the recent chapters. I can also tell Miura still loves Berserk and it's characters.

Isayama honestly feels like he checked out on AOT and it's characters after the time skip and stopped caring.

Then again, I should probably stop even mentioning Isayama in the same breath as Miura. It is hard for anyone to be on or close to Miura's level.
