She has an autistic brother iirc so she was used to it, she was also a woman in her 20s hanging out with kids in a game store, obviously she was on the exceptional side herself.

Megan clearly was a bit socially Inept herself, she was probably autistic herself and maybe found solace in. I don’t know what if If anything she really got out of that relationship but clearly it was probably built on money and sympathy. I do genuinely believe she actually ‘liked’ Chris (yeah nuts right) for his strange sonic recolor’s and specifically obsession with transformers and found solidarity with him.

iirc the house still has a massive mortgage to pay, so that depends entirely on whether or not Chris has, or can claim, ownership of it

Sure, there are plenty of examples of him doing crazy things completely of his own accord (running over Michael Snyder with his car, pepper-spraying the gamestop employee, etc.), but the vast majority of the time his eccentric behaviour was the result of someone else telling him to do something.

First trolls were convincing him to dress up in costumes on video to impress a girl that doesn't exist, then later on it was people convincing him to give them money because they told him his fictional characters were real in another dimension and they would die if he didn't. This is not the behaviour of a mentally competent adult. For his actions to be "evil" he'd had to have an understanding of why what he's doing is wrong, and I'm not convinced that's the case.
