Autistic and have Tourettes and want to drive - If Chris Chan can do it, why can't I?

Plenty of autistic people can drive, it just depends on what your particular issues are and how high functioning you are. Just look at Adam Lanza and Temple Grandin.

He says he has tourretts as well, don't some people with tourettes do repetitive actions involuntarly sometimes? My friend told me about a dude with tourettes who would like, go to sit down and it looked like he was going to sit down but he stood back up (hard to explain in words) before he sat down. My friend cracked a joke because he thought he was just being silly and the guy got mad and told him he had tourettes and he couldn't prevent himself from doing it. Anyway point it, if this guy does involuntary actions and he's driving he'll end up in a ditch. I think it's best if he's off the roads

My Mum says that I can't drive because I can't concentrate, but she hasn't even seen me drive yet and I feel confident enough to drive. Please do not ridicule me for my Autism(MY SISTER WILL GET VERY ANGRY IF YOU DO).

I have Tourettes as well, but I know lots of people with tourettes who can drive.

I believe I can drive, because if Chris Chan can do it, I can, if this discusses Chris Chan and someone wants to move it to the board, then they can do it.

And also, please do not put the time Chris Chan tried to kill Michael Snyder as an example of his driving ability, I know the Cwcki says it but it's just plain wrong, Chris is a good driver.

Hey! Sure you can drive - You are driving us into hysterical laughter.

Just buy a horse, dude. It'll help with the Tourrette's because Silver ain't putting up with any of that.

Why in the world did this months old thread suddenly get necro'd? In any case, this has to be one the oddest random posts I've seen here, reminds me of that finnish shower copypasta.

The thing with the uncontrolled cursing is not the most common form of tourette.

That said, this thread is dumb. The bait is sos obvious. If that were really someone who wanted to prove to his mother tthat he is able to safely operate a car, he would go to a doctor, a person that could actually testify something like that.
