Two great songs by Gary Numan, who is, in fact, actually on the spectrum.

You kinda have to be autistic to like or care about or even know this one:

Still pretty good though. David Wise did the music for Donkey Kong Country 2 and was apparently so inspired by that song that he tried to get the SNES sound chip to emulate the Roland CR-78 that Phil Collins had used for that song, so that he could make that track sound more like the actual song. You can hear more of that synth drum in the tracks for the water levels--but the thing I think is neat is that that fact is basically just a little easter egg sort of thing and that he managed to pull it off so well.

It's kind of weird that for so long people have been pushing technology to it's limits, increasingly creative in how they use and exploit it to do what they want or need, and now that we have all this technology, there's a movement where people want to harken back to "the good old days", and in terms of video games, there's a huge "old-school", "classic, retro" market.

For reference, what you hear in the first 10 seconds of this song, with the exception of the electric guitar, is just the DKC2 soundtrack. There's another drum overlay that comes on soon after that isn't original or part of either song, but it's impressive what the dude did.
