Autumn Asphodel is a Youtube "mental health guru" who has a serious case of USI.
I stumbled upon her when Youtube recommended this video, entitled "Meet My Alters", wherein she claims to have DID and acts poorly into a camera for half an hour with different makeup for each "Alter".

Obviously, because she is a special snowflake, EVERYONE in the world who disagrees with her is out to get her:

Seems she's been around since at least 2010. Anyone heard of this girl? The video is so cringeworthy it's almost not worth watching, I have second-hand embarrassment just reading the title.

"my style is very different to the other ones" no it isn't. if you actually had DID, your alternate personalities would be unrecognisable. you likely wouldn't be able to record them without outside help because said personalities might not even want to be on camera and would avoid it. case in point: a virtual gallery of a woman with DID, and art made by her alternate personalities. it shows just how different alters all are from each other.

Everyones experience with the illness is different, and even if you can communicate with your alters at all let alone how much varies drastically. Shr could have gotten "them all" to cooperate but the way its presented makes me doubtful. Theres too many red flags to not be suspicious of her faking something.

No. In fact, the primary feature of it, if it even exists, is dissociation. That means often not even knowing what other personalities are doing or have done.

Isn't DID remarkably rare? Like to the point where it's debatable it even exists?

She made a part two of her alters video, wherein she claims she knows how to trigger each identity into fronting. This seems awfully...convenient? Especially when she seems to be forcing herself to speak differently for each "alter".

She also has a website which isn't too interesting, mostly a video feed, but she does list symptoms not related to DID in her about as well as a section on her transition.

And was I comprehending her wrong or did she claim to have raped someone during the "sexual alter" part?

Just by watching her talk from the POV of each "alter", it seems like she's lying. I'm not an expert on mental disorders, but from what I've heard, not only is it rare, but the few that have it never know much about each personality. In this case, it seems like she's trying to be "edgy goth girl".

Going too add something: If you've gone through therapy and work at trying to treat or make the disorder less sevrre theres a chance you know about your alters and who/what they are. Part of getting rid + coping is learning what they do and why so you can work on shit and ween off of the alters help with whatever issue. Though usually it's just memories that they keep of a traunatic event.

IMO most of the so-called "personality disorders" are just names for being different kinds of asshole. Histrionic Personality Disorder, for instance, is basically just being an attention whore.

I could barely get past the "sexual alter" part myself.
