Alters don't just show up on command. They manifest due to some triggering stressor. She may THINK she has DID, but people with DID, if it exists, like @AnOminous said, are disassociated. They aren't aware of the other alters and have no memory of what happened while other personalities were in control. Also DID has only been observed in cases of severe, chronic abuse, usually sexual. Has she mentioned being an abuse survivor? If not, she's even more full of shit that originally thought. If she shifted alters on camera, the new arrival would have no idea where she was or why she was being recorded. She's an attention whore with makeup issues.

If she's schizophrenic, that actually could explain everything. She may THINK she has alternate personalities, but it's really just her psychosis making her act a certain way. Fortunately, schizophrenia is more treatable than DID. I hope she has someone in her life who can care for her when she's not in her right mind. Making Youtube videos about your "personalities" isn't really healthy.

We shouldn't armchair-psych or anything, though. Trying to dissect the personality of someone based on youtube videos is risky business. For all we know, this is some kind of persona that she puts on for the sake of the videos. Which could denote some other kind of problem, but...it's brain-microwaving.

In 2008 or 2009, she sent death threats to the mod that kept nuking her alt accounts, and it was a schizo goth civil war for a week as she camped out at her computer and remade the alts whenever he deleted them. They finally IP banned her and a few people who ordained themselves as her personal army, and nothing was heard from her again.

That works too. I never got the Oppression Olympics that makes people pretend to be less functional than they really are. If you're mentally healthy, you should embrace that. Mental illness is not something to be ashamed of, but neither is it a fashion statement, and people who treat it like one grind my gears.
I'm surprised she's not made a video about that and how being ~mistreated~ was so ~traumatising~.
Also what gets me is that there was some degree of continuity between alters in her "Meet My Alters" videos... what are the chances that all of her alters decided to sit in front of the same camera in the same setting and give introductions with more-or-less the same structure?
From what I understand, these separate alters would all be making videos completely independent of each other, and after a switch the next alter would have no idea why they were being filmed or what they were meant to be talking about.

While I definitely think that she and all of the other special snowflakes that claim DID are retarded, sub-human, sacks of burnt hair and fermented goat semen, I feel like I kinda understand why they do it.
Maybe they feel like they are a boring person (which I am sure is very, VERY much the case, as it usually is with all of these fucktards) and saw having multiple personalities as a way to express a side of her that she had never let show before. But she doesn't have to have an excuse to change. One of the biggest problems with these tumblrite idiots is that they all assume that the world is out to get them. They've trapped themselves in a cage of worse-case scenarioes and automatically assume that society already hates them before they even try this shit, and then they make society actually hate them because they're assholes. If this stupid cunt just wants to be a different person, then what she doesn't understand is that people can be very accepting of change if given time. And, besides, I'd rather be friends with someone that has a single interesting and deep personality than someone that has 8 billion shallow characters living up their ass.
If they are pretending to have a split personality because they want sympathy, then I can kind of understand that too. It's very easy to see someone going through the process of healing and get jealous. "People are being warm and friendly to them, I want that too!" But, what they don't understand is that you actually have to be hurt to recover. So they think that putting themselves on the level of someone with a real plight is an easy way to get warm, caring attention without having to go through the soul-crushing, heart-breaking experience of loneliness and hatred that would obviously come with having a little-understood mental illness like DID.
Either way, I understand the basic human feelings of wanted to change or wanting attention, but fucking forget this bitch.
