You'd think with her follower count there would be enough dumb children commissioning Autumn at a frequency that she could afford a cheap tablet. The only people who'd be impressed by an artist of her skill level drawing with her finger on an iPad or whatever are the kinds of people who are stupid enough to fall for Autumn's daily meltdowns and throw money at her for doing absolutely nothing.

Not that I’ve seen. She does occasionally sell her designs as adoptables though.

It feels like a waste that someone with such a high follower count doesn’t take commissions or even churn out enough low-effort adoptables in order to afford basic necessities and a drawing tablet.

I’ve seen her sell adoptables before. They all sold very quickly, all within a day. Why can’t she just do that?

Bruh she'd make a regular killing with adoptables given her following and the fact that she's creatively bankrupt and recycles designs constantly(both common symptoms among adoptable artists). Since I assume her following is mostly teenage girls, albeit LARPing as their narrow perception of what a boy is, she has the prime audience to milk money out of. She'd be undermining her own narrative of being poor and helpless if she suddenly started making $2,000/month from selling her shitty recolors to her gullible idiot followers.

I'm also gonna go out on a limb here and state with no statistics and purely on observation that generally, as far as the furry fandom is concerned, men commission and women adopt, and adoptables have an overwhelmingly female creator-base, and has been as such since the peak days of DeviantArt.

This is why I don't think she has a bank account. Like she sold a design a bit back, and I honestly don't think she'd have any self control with money so her not having access to her money is good. I also think her mom knows she's incapable of being on her own, so mom keeps her at home under her watchful eye. She may dislike her mom, like some do, but its actually like her mom is trying to protect her from herself. Remember her claiming she was being kicked out and was tryin to sell adopts, maybe her mom has control over what she can and can't do and limits how much personal cash she can have at a time and what she spends it on?
