My avatars usually consist of my favorite animated girls from assorted series, with the occasional pin-up. I can't exactly remember which one I used, but my first ones were Mai Shiranui (from Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture) and Roll from the Mega Man cartoon. I can't be assed to find the same pictures, but these should resemble them close enough:

After those, I changed them on a monthly basis, mostly coinciding with a major holiday or a pun based on the month. Occasionally I switch them up with some lovely fan art from the "Draw the avatar above you" thread!

While they're about a year and a half apart, you could say that my current avatar's gone back to its November 2016 (right) roots!

And now it's all V.M. Varga, all the time (Give or take Mike Milligan during February and a meme face from that Willy Wonka/Tom & Jerry movie when that was our Movie Night obsession.)

Now that I've gone though a few different avatars, I think it's time to necro this thread!

My original avatar for KF (CWCki forums in the good ol' days) featured a weird, chicken-human hybrid character from an old comic jam I was part of years ago. It depicts the beaked bastard breaking out of his egg shell, hence why egg yolk's flying everywhere:

As you can see (and hopefully make out despite the shitty quality), this early depiction has some more uncanny features, like a human ear. This was gradually filtered out with later incarnations, alongside the hair on it slowly becoming a more traditional chicken comb.

From then on the little poultry freak has always been the basis of my avatars save for one time. My next profile pic was a colored, less creepy\gross version of ol' chicken man. The human ear is gone, and the freaky human hair starts looking more and more like a comb:

Next up if my spoopy avatar for Halloween of 2017, with my chicken-human going full El Pollo Diablo:

Really tried to channel my inner Todd McFarlane, especially with the hands.

Things got a bit more mellow and kawaii again with by next avatar, with the chicken man showing his appreciation to Kiwi Farms:

My first (and so far only) departure from my freaky chicken was thanks to @Reynard ,who suggested for me to use one of my puntastic Sonic OCs as my avatar:

Ol' Flip here might make a triumphant return once again.

At first I wasn't too keen on the NPC meme, but seeing the massive hissy fit thrown my leftist media has changed my opinion on it enough to feature it in my next profile pic:

Following the recent migration of the site, I wanted to have some fun with the rest of the Kiwis pretend-playing it is the end of times, leading to this apocalyptic take on chicken man and his new little friend who lacks an inner dialogue:

My current avatar yet again pays tribute to a meme, this time to the highly relatable concepts of Honkler and clown world:

As you can see, NPC-worm is still present. Looks like the man-chicken has found himself a permanent sidekick!

then the joke started getting old, so i changed to Killua Zoldyck from Hunter x Hunter, a character that i really liked from an anime i was watching at the time that i really enjoy, great show.

this trend continued, as i changed it to a funny screenshot of the anime i watched afterwards, Toei's version of Yu-Gi-Oh! back when Yami was a complete psycho and Yugi was beaten up every episode.

i also had once a Hunter x Hunter poster as my pfp temporarily, but i can't find the original image anymore.

anywho as i wanted to remind people of my 'tism for Sonic, in the best way possible, plus i just like Sonic as a character, and i love the Sonic CD opening sequence so much, so i dug up this recently leaked drawing of smoking, drawn for private use at Studio Junio.

and this leaves me to now, where i'm using this picture of Fuusuke from the anime "Ninku" also animated by pierrot.

this show was bassicly the original Naruto, with him having substitution jutsus, and rasengans before Naruto did, also MC looked weird and the theme song is a complete banger, thus i became interested in it, also this pic has meme potential.

During this period I used a lot of gifs.

I'm only posting images I've personally saved and set as my avatar in the past. Originally, I had used a screenshot from the New Zealand Rocket Power movie in which a kiwi that steals Tito's vegemite sandwich hops out of a bush and looks at whichever characters were on screen at the moment. The screenshot I had taken was captured mid blink making the bird look angry.


This years previous April Fools prank, Null gifted to me the avatar of the anime character, Nico Yazawa. When you right clicked and opened the avatar image in a new tab, you could notice how the images seemed to be stored in subfolders such as "DONOTOPEN" and "CANCER" and I thought that was funny. Well the cancer stuck and I had decided to keep the avatar for a bit in jest. Only time will tell if the cancer is benign or malignant.


KiwiFarms user @BubbleButt also adopted Nico Yazawa at some point and wrote a message on my account page on May 29th regarding as such. Considering how similar our avatars were, I wanted a different variation on the same character. This brings us to the sketch of Nico Yazawa smoking.


Now when I originally picked this avatar, I assumed the character was a fair bit younger than she actually is. The idea that went through my head was "if a little girl spent a substantial amount of time on KiwiFarms, of course she'd need a cigarette." I also decided I should familiarize myself with the source material around that time pleasantly learning that the character is a bit of an asshole. Nico Yazawa has grown on me and I now don't have any intention of changing my avatar for a while.
