Not so much a bug that makes the site unusable, just an interesting little unintended(?) thing that happens with a certain Firefox plugin.

I'm using a Firefox plugin called Canvas Defender that fakes a canvas hash to avoid sites using my browser fingerprint. I noticed with the plugin enabled, there's an interesting thing that happens: the avatars start to change hue/glow very slowly, but only with the plugin on.

Not sure if this is a XenForo thing, but it'd be something to look at. Attached a GIF of what happens.

The chat uses Canvas elements to render avatars on their first frame to stop GIFs from animating in chat.

Oh, okay. I didn't know if that plugin would do it, since I wasn't sure if it downright blocked canvas elements (since it fakes a canvas hash).

Thanks though!
