Nah, you are bluffing. To 100% Avowed you need some 60 hours, to do the same with New Vegas you need 130 hours or more.
My last TTW playthrought (combined FO3 and FNV) took me 90 hours to "100%" both games.

Someone that has already played both games would obviously complete them faster than someone attempting to do a 100% for the first time.My last TTW playthrought (combined FO3 and FNV) took me 90 hours to "100%" both games.

Do you even wonder for a second if these people are actually grifting or they are just retarded?Be Obsidian
Create whacky "le capitalism is le bad game that no one wants
le whacky le capitalism is bad game flops
Evil corporation that owns your ass says no more le whacky capitalism is bad games
meekly say "yes massa because even though your a super badass anti capitalist tranny with 500,000 reddit karma you know who owns your ass
lol
I want to play devil's advocate and say that FNV was built over a Fo3, tho I know nothing about awoved's development aside of how spineless it feels to have the game be part of another franchise because of muh branding.Just to illustrate how bad things have gotten - old, predominantly male and White Obsidian managed to develop New Vegas in 18 months. The new, diverse, progressive, feminine Obsidian needed close to 4 years to make Outer Worlds 1, and six fucking years to shit out Avowed.
For 100% new vegas, do you include multiple endings to get all achivements and DLCs as well?Neither game has anywhere near the amount of content or quality of writing of New Vegas. Nobody will remember Avowed, OW1 and 2 exist within a year.

Obsidian had to overhaul and expand the engine massively, to say nothing of all the new mechanics they introduced with the game.was built over a Fo3
That's what 100% a game means, usually. For 100% new vegas, do you include multiple endings to get all achivements and DLCs as well?
It would be nice tho since POE 2 ended on a cliffhangerHonestly, I would rather have Pillars of Eternity 3 then another Avowed. Doubt they could make one without josh sawyer though.
First time? Lol lmao.Someone that has already played both games would obviously complete them faster than someone attempting to do a 100% for the first time.
Did anyone ever tell you're miserable pointing the obvious?Did anyone ever tell you're a retard?
Avowed is Pillars 3, it takes place after that game and references events and characters from it.Honestly, I would rather have Pillars of Eternity 3 then another Avowed. Doubt they could make one without josh sawyer though.
Honestly, that's all you need to say to make people shit on nubsidian, deservedly too.Avowed was made in Unreal 5
Josh's autism game balancing fixation and waifu insertion ruined PoE 2 for me. I think Chris Avellone really made a big impact on the quality of writing and worldbuilding in the first game which I felt was lacking in the second (them ruining the characters from PoE notwithstanding, looking at you Eder 'my wife's bf's son'). Obsidian appears to be going the way of Bioware though and I'm not sad at all. Make bad games lose everything (deservedly).Honestly, I would rather have Pillars of Eternity 3 then another Avowed. Doubt they could make one without josh sawyer though.
Yea that realization hurt me too. Pillars 2 kinda disappeared up it's own ass about halfway through but I thought Pillars 1 was actually a really solid CRPG.View attachment 8529886
Man don't hurt me like that
I somehow lost all my interest in P1 when I arrived to the elf town. Don't remember why. I remember cringing at the "name your OC" character names for the backers but that wasn't the main issue. I finished the game though, but I don't even remember what happened.I thought Pillars 1 was actually a really solid CRPG
To be fair, Outer Worlds was going to be more nuanced than "capitalism le bad", but it was reddit-ized late in development. Also, Outer Worlds 2 isn't quite as "le capitalism bad" as the first one and actually offers some more nuanced themes, but the damage is done. It's Obsidian's own fault for tying this millstone to their own necks, for zero reason, just like they had no reason to outright announce they are only making "mediocre games now" and still somehow fail at that. They are their own worst enemy.Do you even wonder for a second if these people are actually grifting or they are just retarded?
Talking about big media conglomerates never hesitating to go "le captalism bad" when they are the biggest, jewest faggots around.
I'd almost say its even more pathetic than something like KO-PE's upcoming title (young suns) that manages to mention "capitalism is le bad" unprompted because at least they try to pretend they aren't part of some big conglomerate acting like sockpuppets.
well, that's disappointing, lmfaoAvowed is Pillars 3, it takes place after that game and references events and characters from it.
Avowed 2 is their next game according to their end of the year financial filings.Do we even know what they have in the pipeline now? PoE 3 maybe, OW3 is not happening and I can't even remember what other IPs they have. That stupid bug game, maybe?
Does Avowed even have some sort of plot hook? Or anything appealing about it for anyone to want more? Maybe they will actually finish it this time, but I doubt anyone will care, they created even more damage to the brand than the first OW game did with how awful it was.Avowed 2 is their next game according to their end of the year financial filings.
The first teaser got me. They knew what the images would evoke and what associations would be made. I don't even care about Skyrim, there was a long "mines of Moria" moment in it, showcasing a magnificent descent into something amazing and frightening. It could have easily been a linear, dark dungeon crawler with free movement and interesting RPG mechanics.and I am sure others wanted to play a "darker Skyrim" that the game advertised itself to be too
Some reviewers have praised the combat particularly the magic system but I play RPGs primarily for the story and characters so that's not a draw for me.Does Avowed even have some sort of plot hook?
