Awful Video Game UIs

I'd like to see some examples of terrible video game UIs because currently Suicide Squad is the winner for worst looking UI of all time.

Does it count if it's an MMO custom UI? Because in my days I've played with some absolute fucking animals that cluttered their screens with hotbars and HUD elements until you couldn't make out what was going on.

Oblivion's UI on PC is notoriously terrible, because it was dumbed down for the sake of console editions and omitted all of the benefits of having a mouse interface available for an RPG with lots of loot, settings, and information to display. This led to a situation where you could see only a few things on screen at any one place, despite having the real estate and resolution to cram in 10x (as was the case with the predecessor, Morrowind). Then you had to navigate around way too many different menus to find things, and get there using terrible controls that were extremely unintuitive.

Any Ubisoft outpost simulator from the the last 15 years. I actually like the diagetic stuff some info boxes and maps can be written off as as augmented elements I don't mind the clutter it can actually enhance the feel of it all. But why in gods name do I need to see the button prompts for everything always. You can never turn them off either, siege has em too and even after thousands of hours you'll still be told how to throw a grenade, vault a ledge, switch fire mode(WHICH NOBODY DOES IN ANY GAME EVER BECAUSE BURST FIRE IS BULLSHIT (except the glock on some patches of counter strike)AND SINGLE FIRE IS JUST TAP SHOOTING YOU DONT NEED A FUNCTION FOR THAT IF YOU TURN ON SINGLE FIRE YOURE JUST GONNA DIE WHEN SOMEONE SWINGS ON YOU).

And its also annoying how despite constant text boxes and button prompts flashing all over the place we still can't get a health bar on screen instead of the fucking red jelly, vignettes and color correction paired with a deafening tinnitus effect for some reason?? Why when I'm at my weakest, 1 shot from death, I'm not allowed to hear footsteps for 10 seconds?

And Ubisoft just handles it so poorly, no opacity on text boxes, puts it right in the frame of action instead of off to the side and they always have worthless skill systems that make half the ui irrelevant, battery life and stamina often become infinite within 5 hours of starting an Ubisoft game so why have them at all? But that's an Ubishit problem of undermining mechanics with terrible systems.

^Also I know theres a health bar right here. I realized this is from breakpoint not wildlands, nobody played breakpoint because of a number of issues that game had and I'm referring to the vast majority of their games that have regenerating hp.

Also well known ones are oblivion and skyrim which todd has admitted he mods them out.

Payday 2 is also pretty bad the top mods are all info huds and crash fixes. Not only does the default ui tell you useless info, it has a full screen of useless stuff that slides out if you hit tab (except body bag count) but it also just doesnt show enough. Most payday hud mods let you absolutely saturate the screen with relevant information that once you're an experienced player would probably want. Specifics about your own and teammate's gear especially as well as when buff effects are active that you'd have no clue when they start or end otherwise.

This one might be more of a pet peeve of mine but the life bars in Street Fighter vs Tekken had this terrible shaking animation that made it really hard to gauge how much damage you just did.
Special mention to Iron & Blood for DOS. It had an 'improved' lifebar over the PS1 version (Which just straight up gave you the number and made those stupid fucking torches worthless) but still hid so much little shit you needed to know like how much magic you had to perform special moves.
