Got Lion after 110 pulls. Should I go for the duplicate copy?
IMO I would not immediately max limit break Lion just in case you get more dups of her from either construction or pity. I used UR bullins to get my copy of Lion to 5 stars, but did not limit break her to 6 stars. That way if I get 1 or 2 more dups of her I can use them instead of UR bullins to limit break her.

I just went for spending the two UR Bullins on Trafalgar, as she's not in the banner, and grinding out the UR gear + second copy from the store. I really like Lion and will MLB her next.

Was thinking of saving Trafalgar's copy like I did with Z52's. No idea how that comes off as "retarded" when the strategy actually worked in W15 for me by having Z52 in both fleets giving the flagships the bonus 25% damage reduction. Lion can add on 30% more to that while her lionflame ability is actively burning 3 or more enemies, which is pretty easy to do in the later campaign stages, making her on the level of Musashi for the other fleet that doesnt have her as the flagship.

So far I’ve got one dupe of Lion, so I’ll finish grinding out medals for Trafalgar’s second copy, then farm 12-4 for coins to pull to pity in about 70 pulls.

Got 2 duplicates of Lion out of 200 pulls, one of those was from Pity. Should I keep 1 of them for the other fleet in campaign? Had already used one on Limit breaking Lion.

Personally I keep dupes of all the URs on hand. I haven't used/leveled any of them but if there's ever content where it would be meaningfully better to use one of them I'll have it as an option. I've got enough specialized core data+rainbulins to MLB about 10 of them (there's 21 URs not counting DRs/retrofits which are unique) so you get more than enough data+bulins to have/raise dupes of the ones you want if you're consistently playing

So far really enjoying Lion more than I thought I would. Her Lionflame DOT is noticeably excellent even with unleveled skills and her version of the amagi CV barrage every few seconds is extremely powercrept. Will definitely be pushing W15 with her as the Flagship in the fleet Musashi isn't in.

Trafalgar is also fun to sortie with and is like a HMS version of Shimakaze, but with a powercrept version of Santa Fe's flare ability that uses a cool tidepool effect instead of a flare.

Opsci doesn't allow for duplicate ships but every other gamemode allows it. Just not in the same fleet.

Can never seem to get enough UR Bullins to catch up with Max Limit breaking the older UR's I have. So end up with a months-long backlog where ships like Fritz Rumey are lucky to be brought into the latest campaign content and leveled to 120-125 with lvl 10 skills beforehand. Alsace is still missing the last two she needs and Mogodor is somewhere in the back with the reserve duplicates.

But hey, here's yet another duplicate for Shinano or NJ from the beginners journal that you can't trade in for a UR bullin. Only medals.

There should be a new UR bullin catch up event to help mitigate some of this like they had with gold bullins a few times before. Though the next anniversary is coming up so they will probably just give us a free one with that.

Was fun to push through 15-3 with Maggiore and Leonardo in my submarine fleet. Gives you two oil free submarine deployments anywhere on the map per sortie. You don't need to move the subs into attack range either and giving them snorkels left them immune to most damage because the battles were brutal and quick in under 20 seconds for non-boss nodes. Sometimes they were over so fast that all that was needed to be destroyed were the kansen in the formations.

Still don't really understand the support fleet mechanic. I guess all it does is just extend the timer in between plane deathstack waves depending on the ships combined stats? Not sure how most endgame players are able to get through W15 and even auto clear farm 15-4.

These sorties are absolutely brutal even with ships that can consistently clear hard mode opsci arbiters and the first time armor type damage matchups actually start to matter in game. Its the difference between needing 2 damage rotations to clear a boss node or 4-5 and nearly losing the fleet in the process.

Still don't really understand the support fleet mechanic.
The way carrier fighters work is every X seconds (8-10, depending on the fighter and the reload of the ship they're equipped to) an interceptor fleet is prepped and ready to launch, this is independent of the ships manual launch where all 2-3 plane slots are unleashed at once.

The interceptor fleets automatically launch whenever enemy planes are inbound. The interceptor fleets will consist of however many fighters your ship launches (and ships with two fighter slots have two interceptor fleets on separate cooldowns). They only have their AA guns, they don't drop any bombs/rockets/etc, so it's purely AA, not surface damage

The support fleet just gives you tons of extra interceptors for both of your combat fleets, so ideally you have three ships with double fighter slots. Their skills don't matter, so basically just grab ships with high avi/reload/double fighters. Last I checked you just wanted double flapjacks on the support fleet, they had the highest average AA dps and I don't think they've been replaced. I think they also have a slower flight speed so they get a bit of extra time to fight as well

Their avi stat might count towards air supremacy, I have no idea

W15 definitely wasn't fun, always felt super inconsistent. Sometimes I'd clear a fight without anyone taking any damage, sometimes I'd lose two vanguards, usually in the last 3-4 seconds of a fight, felt like the damage came in all at once

I was never able to autoclear it. It definitely gets a ton easier once you lower the threat level but I still needed to pay attention and play semi-manually. Auto combat was mostly fine but had to manually select easier targets, occasionally reset fights. For the boss node I liked to manually clear the trash, saving up airstrikes, then just hit auto once the boss started. Before lowering the threat boss was full manual, stockpiled air strikes to counter the enemy air strikes

If I hadn't already cleared it I don't think I could do to now. My phone could never handle it and ever since that big patch the game has run like crap on my emulator. I'm dying for a native pc client lol

Yeah it has been very inconsistent so far. Taking about 5-6k oil per map at best with a similar experience. Sometimes the map is cleared without losing any ships, and other attempts fail or have to be reset due to taking too much damage or losing the boss fleet from a single fight.

Did notice the game was crashing or sending me back to the login screen often when auto grinding out the current event on the emulator. It also crashed often when I was in the middle of fights on W15. Didn't have this issue at all before the latest updates.

No real pressure to go through W15 but its something to do with all of this high end gear. There's not much bragging rights for the trophy ships as they aren't relevant to the current meta at all. Though New Orleans is my favorite one so far. W16 should have a UR ship for how much of a grind it is to prepare for and push these maps. Its also been two years apparently since it was added.

Didnt know that the carrier node at the start of the W15 maps is what spawns the deathstacks. Gunning for it first thing halved the deathstacks and made the maps significantly easier. Also swtiched in Scylla for my main tank on the mobbing fleet and swapped some carriers around to have flapjacks and Tigercats had no further problems. Didnt even need a plymouth gun. Which I still do not have. The only problem was oil and needing to move the submarines around often.

You can also call in artillery strikes to weaken enemy fleets. Wish the intro to the chapter would have explained the new mechanics a lot better. The chapter became much more of an enjoyable challenge just following some general fleet comp guidelines.

Its nice to finally have caught up with the latest Campaign chapters. W15 was definitely scarier at the beginning than it was near the end as the boss could snipe your flagship very quickly on 15-2 but once the air support was taken out on the map, it was a fairly straightforward slugfest.

Was fun to have some involved game mechanics beyond the usual mindless auto farming during events. Looking forward to W16.

Finally got my phone enough space to update. Britannya time, prepare for crumpets loicenses.

Really like Lion and Trafalgar. The free XP packs from the resort event really helped level them up to around 120 very quickly.

Now its just a matter of waiting for more UR bulins.

What did they add with that random 1 GB update yesterday? There's some random "skin projection" mechanic they added to the PR lab but it doesn't seem to do anything and wasn't mentioned in the patch notes. Thought we were getting the black rock shooter collab.

Lots of new skins, Grenville META , Little Agir, juustagrams, mini event to get a skin for Chang Feng, and the projection thing. Doesn't seem like anything major but it might have been fixing something that was broken after the reinstall a few weeks ago, I know people were having problems with Lion's skin, might have been related to that

Grenville META has a fun design, she went from having some Star Wars-y space cowboy suppressed revolvers to full-on scifi blasters

And the Blackrock Shooter characters are starting to appear on Xitter

Felt like we were in a content drought for a while but looks like lots of stuff coming up now

Edit: Looks like Lion's skin is still broken so I guess it wasn't that lol

I take it we've beaten the game after braving and clearing 15-4? Doesn't seem to be much more to do after getting what you wanted out of the current event.

At that point you're pretty much just farming cog chips, T4 plates, and the OS crafting materials. If you want more challenging content that's what the challenge modes are for, difficult boss fights designed to be a challenge at 125. Only bragging rights/chat icons for rewards but that's all we've got for now

More in it for the 100% collection rate and the journey to improve the ships to get through the campaign. Though I'm happy with the ships I do have.

If the campaign had some actual story to it outside of events that happened months-years ago, im sure it would be well received. Isn't 15-4 referencing the hunt for the Yamato or something? It was worn down over several battles just like that before it was sunk.
