B-movie/Grindhouse movie suggestions

Not sure if this is exactly what you're asking for but the August Underground trilogy.

I think the first one is okay but the 2nd and 3rd one's are the ultimate tryhard/edgelord bullshit. Just a bunch of fat people running around screaming, cursing, pretending to be crazy and doing everything they can think of that's shocking while having a $20 budget. Similar to Murder-Set-Pieces or Chaos where the director wants to be the next Ruggero Deodato or someone like that while having no talent whatsoever.

Sorry if any are reposts. I just read the thread, but don't remember everything that was posted.

Psycho A Go-Go

V/H/S/ 1 & 2

The Green Inferno

Lucio Fulci's Zombi!

Ichi the Killer

Sleepaway Camp

964 Pinocchio

Rubber's Lover

Tetsuo the Iron Man

Killer Klowns from Outer Space

and, you know, etc.

Most of my choices were already selected... however I do have to give props to Rutger Hauer for not one, but two excellent grindhouse/ B-movie movies...

The Hitcher (the 1986 version. There was a 00's remake. Avid that unless you are a Sean bean completionist or something)

Hobo With A Shotgun

Also, while it is understandibly divisive, if you're in the right mood (read: either incredibly high or wanting to have some fucking weird dreams), then give Mandy a try.

I'm down for either one as long as they aren't totally boring and there's some decent visual effects n hot ladies in them
Then I recommend Deadly Weapons. It's a movie about a woman whose tits are so big they suffocate men.

Female Trouble is probably one of my all time favorite movies, even though it's not that much of an exploitation film, but it's by the master, John Waters, so I am recommending it anyway
And Pink Flamingos

Ah shit everypony else already suggested the best italian ones.

Well since I have been beaten to the best of Fulci and Argento, allow me to throw a curve ball and recommend the first two films in the Ju-On/The Grudge franchise.

Ju-on The Curse Part 1
Ju-on The Curse Part 2

Shot on crappy VHS tapes, sufficient quantities of cheap homemade gore, zero cinematic polish, poor lighting and fuzzy sound design, yet are unironically my favourite japanese horror films, and the ones I am most likely to rewatch, and in my opinion are significantly creepier than their more famous follow ups of Ju On The Grudge 1/2 and ESPECIALLY the american Grudge series since there is less of the cliche cinematic horror schtick going on, and the locations all look perfectly normal an nonthreatening which makes it all the more jarring when bad shit happens.

That being said I recommend you watch Part 2 from 29:13 since the first half hour is literally just a TLDR version of Part 1.

Oh yeah and you should probably also watch the two shorts that were made a few years earlier which would become the basis of the whole series since they explain what happened to two of the main characters in Curse Part 1

There's 8 or 9 movies now. Parts 4-7 or 8 is still not translated for some reason.

Meh if the OG Texas Chain Saw Massacre counts as grindhouse then so do the OG direct to VHS Ju-Ons.

Did this nigga seriously compare the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre to fucking Ju-On?

When fucking Joss Whedon makes fun of your movie then your movie is pretty fucking weak.

Joss Whedon makes fun of anything not bathed in soy, made to watch its wife be fucked by a thousand niggers, and then run through a thousand inclusivity concern groups.

In terms of a concept of cheap+unpolished+lacking traditional horror cinematography+made for a quick buck/shits and giggles yet influence the whole genre it is more than fair to make a simple comparison.
