The savings aren't even that great, I can understand going to get your teeth done because what's the worst that could happen (inb4 phossy jaw from mehmeds discount enamelling) but the morons going for invasive cosmetic surgery is nonsensical especially when they're saving a mere few thousand $£ when the casualty rate has to be approaching double digits now. True mental illness.

Not to mention if something gets fucked up it's infinitely more expensive and you can't get out of fixing it or you're permanently disfigured or in severe pain, life altering complications where before you just had an insecurity that nagged at you. If you're genuinely dysmorphic get real psychological help.

If you can't afford something elective then you just can't afford it. Work to get where you can or just deal. That's life. And it's honestly a limiting factor that has saved a lot more people from going down the plastic surgery route TBH. The sanity not to spend money they didn't have on cosmetic procedures. I see comments a lot from people that amount to that in a lot of videos and posts detailing the downsides and truth about certain outcomes.

Never was a fan of hers, but she was abused by Dan Schneider just like Amanda Bynes but has never admitted it like Jeanette McCurdy or Amanda did.

Was listening to The Carpenters when I saw this post and wow.
Everyone around her is enabling this even though she’s clearly very sick and has mental illness that’s not being addressed.
Karen Carpenter died in the 70’s and in 2024 we still haven’t fixed things.

Her team is shit, Kanye’s handlers have him under control and off social media and on meds, according to Kanye being on meds is zombie land but his handlers are doing it anyways.

I can only imagine she's trying desperately to try and look the way she did in her 20s, not realizing that being that scrawny in your 30s only makes you look older. She's probably used to being told to stay skinny while she was a child actress so she could keep getting cast as a child (the same way Jeanette McCurdy was) and can't break that mindset.

Abcesses turning into sepsis. Poorly done crowns that after a couple of years needs to be replaced by dentures or implants. Boneloss because of infection. Severe pains in the jaw. Etc etc
Fun fact. A lot of the people going to Turkye to get veneers, get crowns and theyre not aware of the difference. When you get your teeth prepared for veneers, they remove a tiny bit of enamel for the porcelain to stick. When its crowns,they shave the tooth down to pegs. That can only be done 2 to 3 times before you run completely out of tooth and have to get implants or dentures. Crowns usually last 10 years if theyre well made, so all of those in their early twenties getting it done because of "love islanders" or something similar, is gonna be fucked when they hit their forties.
 
There is different types of veneers though, porcelain or composite. The latter typically only lasts up to 10 years, and the former up to 15 years. So you will have to get it reworked at some point.

As a powerlevel I had 4 chipped teeth and had veneers for 15 years. After that the recommended option was crowns and was recommended by different dentists and the final work done through a family friend.
It should be a 7 day job as they need to grind down, do the mold and have them made (they glue composites onto you in the meantime so you have some semblance of teeth). Then they need to be fitted and rechecked a couple of days later to make sure no issues. I'm sure there is shortcuts done in turkey.

Anyone that has good teeth getting cosmetic work to the uncanny level of perfect is a moron. Keep your original teeth as they are if you can.

Forgot about composite veneers. If anyone wants to see stupidity in its purest form, search youtube for veneertech. People vent to veneertechs and paid a couple of thousands of dollars for composite veneers. The kicker? veneertech is a 2 day course and its illegal af to do dentistry if youre not a dentist, so all of those wannabe dentists are feeling the heat.
One short I saw, was a woman who had her nails, teeth and lips done by the same person. All in the "techs" livingroom.

What do we think of dental bonding? I saw some on YouTube, they just sculpt you new teeth when your current ones are all jacked:

Granted, resin sculpting can't last forever, and I've heard that some people lost their bonding as early as 2 years after the procedure. BUT I've seen other people praising the service to high heaven. If I had any plastic surgery, I'd 100% be getting my chipped teeth fixed with this shit. It doesn't seem as bad as veneers/crowns.

Sorry to double post but mobile is too difficult to fix. My front tooth looked close to that and I had it fixed twice now. They smear some glue on stub, they mash some putty on it and hit it with UV light. Then they grind it all down untill it looks normal. It's honestly pretty legit for normal people. I'm not normal people so I stopped fucking with getting mine fixed when I'd break it back off doing inappropriate things.
I won't laugh at people for this unless it's extremely fucked and retarded.

This feels different for me since it's reconstructive rather than just cosmetic. While you can function just fine with a chipped or even missing tooth, it's a huge quality of life improvement to have it fixed. Plus, chipped teeth like can very easily be the result of accidents and not just poor dental hygiene.
