Making my way through my horror movie collection and holy shit Anya Taylor-Joy went downhill fast.

I loved both movies but goddamn.
 
What pictures are they showing people that want buccal fat removal to convince them to do this? With other surgeries I can see how you can convince a woman to get breast surgery. She wants bigger breasts? You can give her bigger breasts and not make it look terrible if you don't overdo it. But buccal fat?
"You want a face with less babyfat? here is buccal fat removal. Yes, you do end up looking like a ghoul".
What do their agents even say. "Thanks honey, you just made my job 10 times harder. You managed to age yourself out of hollywood in 1 day."

That's why I was so taken aback seeing her in those two movies. All the tricky camera work, lighting, makeup, and editing in the world can't fix the damage she's done. She went from a singer with dreams of making it big who got roped into prostitution by her "manager" (Last Night in Soho) to an escort with wealthy clientele (The Menu). She killed her pimp, butchered her face, and went right back to whoring. Yes, I know these are two very different movies set in two very different time periods, but let me have some fun here.

I didn’t realise she was only 27 when her cheeks caved in!

At least some accusations of buccal fat removal are just women who are daring to age naturally in Hollywood and have not corrected their cheek volume loss.

I thought Anya Taylor-Joy was one such case. But I thought she was in her 30’s!
 
I hadn't checked on Demi Lovato in a while, what did she do to her poor face? I was watching a youtube video that talked about her transformation in a "nature is healing, women are going back to being pretty and feminine" type of way. Girl what. This is just another extreme form of ruining your body out of a sense of self-hatred or lack of identity. This might even be worse than the they/them microbangs and dumb tattoos. It seems like, at the end of the day, these people want to be able to look into the mirror and not recognize themselves. Whether that be through a drastic hairstyle change, getting tats and piercings, transition, or getting a bunch of work done, it all stems from the same unhealthy place of wanting to disassociate from yourself. This isn't good and isn't a trend women and girls should follow.

Demi Lovato looked totally fine before she did anything to her face. Even her strong jaw was fine with the right haircut and whatnot.

Now she just looks like a RealDoll.

The desire these women have to look fucking identical to one another in pursuit of the constantly changing "ideal beauty" drives me nuts. They become botched, plasticy clones of each other and it makes no sense. Almost all of them start out beautiful, and usually in unique and distinct ways, but they dilute it all down until it's completely gone and they look like everyone else around them. It's creepy.

Sophie Turner is 28 and has had a similar hollow-cheeked thing going on since she was 26, do you think she's aging naturally or has she had buccal fat removal?

I saw the same video too and I agree with you, Demi ain't beautiful anymore, the work she got done made her look worse. And not plastic surgery, but her makeup isn't helping.

Not as bad as that one pic suggests, but still a quite god awfully terrible hack job on the cheeks.
