Bad plastic surgery is even more alarming when shown next to someone who actually looks normal. I love FashionNova so much.

Thanks to this thread for giving me something to terrify my mother with. She had eye surgery due to hole in her retina, which healed uneventfully, but is now seriously twitchy about eye surgery. Mentioning idiots who've made themselves blind by eye implants will probably have her utterly horrified.

I'm certain this has probably been mentioned in the thread about this girl, but VenusAngelic had weight loss surgery done illegally, even though she was fucking tiny to begin with... Like 8 stone tiny IIRC. I think before the surgery she did in fact gain weight but jesus christ. She looked very normal beforehand.

She had to go abroad to get it done, as it was illegal for her to get it done in her home country. Her video on it has since been deleted. The surgeon removed her appendix and gallbladder (and apparently part of her intestine too, but idk if that's just a rumour) without her knowledge/consent beforehand.
She eventually had to go to hospital due to infections (and i think septic shock)

Later on she was unable to keep food/drinks in her system and was losing a shitton of weight (a complication from the surgery itself), which was extremely bad and unhealthy for her. She didn't even tell the doctors she'd had the surgery at first, but eventually did say something (thank god).

The doctor who performed her surgery is Dr Sehoon Kang, who was responsible for, and subsequently jailed for the death of a singer after performing a surgery without their consent or knowledge beforehand. Strangely enough she knew about this, and still went to him for the surgery - though from this video it seems a lot like she was trying to rationalise it in her head because she thought she needed the surgery at the time?

But, I think Venus and others can learn a valuable lesson from this... DO NOT TRY TO CHEAT WHEN IT COMES TO LOSING WEIGHT... ESPECIALLY IF YOU DON'T ACTUALLY NEED TO.

She looks like a tuning fork, the picture in the previous post.

It is interesting to see people with abnormal bodies in a casual setting wearing clothes, like PixeeFox earlier in the thread. She looks weird in a professional photo shoot but she's also the type of creature that seems to only exists in photo shoots, but on the street around normal people and everyday then it really sinks in how fucked up it is.

Bodybuilders exist in that space as well and while not plastic surgery addicts they're a group that takes things way, way too far.

Here's Markus Ruhl looking bodybuilder:y.

Everyone has seen pictures like that and while certainly extreme most people don't know what a body like that looks like in everyday life, seeing that drives home how bizarre it really is. Not just for them but like the woman in the previous post and so, so many other people that have been posted in this thread.

Same dude with clothes on. He looks... I don't know, like a T-shaped midget or something, it's just not right.

You can see that her butt implants are just so big that they give the impression of hips from the front, when if you look closely, the torso curves inwards as you reach her front.

Cause most white women are born with lips so thin that you can only see them with overdrawn lipstick. So, given the option, they go fucking crazy and give themselves balloon smoochers.

Also I get the impression that it's not as easy to create subtly fuller lips with filler unless someone has true skill and talent, plus doctors and licensed cosmetic aestheticians must get a lot of pressure from crazy clients to make their lips as obvious as possible.

Most thin-lipped white women shouldn't aspire to lips fuller than these imo:

Going for Angelina Jolie/Scarlett Johansson/Kylie Jenner lips is a disaster waiting to happen.

Because it is never enough and they go Taylor Dean or even Pete Burns.

I think you start with just a tiny bit to fill out lines etc, and it looks great and you get compliments, and you do it again and go a little heavier and everyone tells you how sexy you look, and it just snowballs from there. Plastic surgery is addictive...not in a chemical way like cigarettes, but from a positive feedback loop. You get everyone telling you your lips are amazing, or your botox looks grand, you look so young and rejuvenated, so a little more will be even better, right? Then the trip to the injection chair becomes a thing you do to perk yourself up when you feel down about your looks or life in general, a quick dopamine rush of “wow you look greaaaat!” from the doctor.

The same way women were told for years “you can never be too rich or too thin,” the mantra is now “the bigger the lips, the better the pout.” Humanity has never really grasped “less is more” in any real fashion. It’s why the local shop’s freezer carries frozen triple-mega-all toppings-five cheese-mozz in the crust-nacho ranch marinara-smothered in individually fried cheesy tots-dipping sauce included pizza. More is ALWAYS better, even when it’s godawful.

From what I can recall, the botched surgery that put her in the hospital was gastric stapling to reduce the size of her stomach. This is typically done for people who are morbidly obese who haven't found any success in dieting or exercising, and need drastic changes to prevent their health from deteriorating even further. Only the doctor botched the surgery, and food got into the the stapled-off section of her stomach and caused her to go into septic shock. She lied about having it initially like you said, but eventually caved and had the staples taken out.

Interestingly enough, I’ve also heard that this is how eating disorders develop in certain people. They initially diet and exercise moderately to lose a bit of weight, and they get some compliments. They ramp it up a bit and get more people complimenting them and being impressed with the weight loss... Eventually by the time they’re going to extremes and start getting too thin, it’s embedded into their minds that “good feelings” and “losing weight” are one and the same.
