Why don't these people have any sense of proportion? Someone earlier in the thread might have said it already, but just because a feature looks good in isolation doesn't mean all the features taken as a whole will look good too.
Ken Doll, for example. If you just look at his jawline & ignore everything else, you could say it's fine. But as a whole, his eyes are way too small & close together for a jawline like that to work. It gives him a weird pear-shaped head.

On the other side of things, there's that Korean trend where the women get jaw reductions. What I noticed is the jaw ends up being smaller, but the midface (which can't really be changed I suppose) is left the same, so many end up looking like something I'll describe as being similar to Alan Rickman or Phoebe from Friends.
