At least doctors actually take an oath not to fuck you up LMAO
They don’t take the Hippocratic oath any more. Too much inconvenient stuff about the unborn and using diet to promote health.
Nowadays they use the rather sanitised Geneva declaration.
The Graun is aghast that the oath isn’t including climate change.https://archive.ph/hPvm9
But still, screw the unborn and preventative medicine. The bit about accepting divine wrath if you deliberately break the oath is gone as well.
Honestly having seen how the medical profession as a whole behaved with covid, you might be better off with Shazza and her lip fillers, or your local vet.

Sorry to bring the topic back to Kpop. I don't know if she was mentioned already, but regardless heres Jessi. Notorious for overtanning and acting black. Makes the Twitter speds angry and does just the same when someone accuses her of "blackfishing"

She also got her body done. Unflattering footage courtesy of Hyuna.

Here's Chungha, as a little treat.

I wonder if the kpop stans ever consider this when they cream their panties over the music. Yes, I know, separate the art from the artist but personally the way, it forces beauty standards on young girls makes me super sad and in general sours me to the whole industry.

It's amazing how much better the Korean girls look after plastic surgery compared to the Western girl. If the Koreans had their noses done as well, why the hell do Western plastic surgeons keep sucking at noses? But it is unfortunate that they make still growing teenagers get work done.
Western plastic surgeons have some kind of weird subculture in the industry. I heard about it on a podcast once. Apparently some noses are so distinct that other plastic surgeons can look at someone and know who did their rhinoplasty.
And to be fair, dreadlocks aren't natural, if you aren't homeless. It's just matted hair and shows that you're a slob.
Buzz off the hair or brush the damn hair, it's not that hard.
Yes and no. Eurasian hair can't "lock" naturally, but most African hair can lock decently enough without the need to be teased or textured or dirty.

Have you ever made a rope from scratch? You know how you need to twist the individual parts, then twist together, and that's what gives it the structure and the ability to stick together? You can do that with black hair much more easily than Eurasian hair, and the twists will stay together under their own strength, whereas twists in non-black hair will fall out.

Chungha looked completely fine before, I don't know why people keep destroying perfectly good faces.

Hyuna is funny because it almost looks like shes had work done. But in reality it's all makeup, lashes, contacts, and styling. She took a photo while on the street and she looks like a kid.

I think one of the most infamous and (imo) "tragic" K-Pop cases is Park Bom. Her story overall is quite depressing, but additionally to plastic surgery she apparently has something wrong with her lymph nodes and also takes alot of medications which cause her face to swell up (+weight gain).

Start of her career:

Now (apparently she lost some weight recently?):

So they're fucking up people's faces for what amounts to an inside joke. How cute.

For some reason these give me serial killer vibes.
They're staring way more intensely at the camera than you'd usually see in a western yearbook photo. It doesn't help that the first and last girl are also every-so-slightly frowning, which combined with the intense stares makes it look like they're seething with repressed rage.

This is not what you would call a "botched" result, but it's a result that I dislike even more than the stereotypical botches. Here's a woman with a prominent nose which, in my opinion, looks proportionate given her other features (strong jawline, fairly long face, etc.). She gets a rhinoplasty to look that stereotypical button nose, which is probably what she was going for. Her best feature, the one feature that makes her stand out, was the one that had to go. Her "after" is much more forgettable than her "before." It's so depressing. This seems to be typical of "successful" rhinoplasties, the kind that doctors post on their web pages to advertise their practice.

It's not an inside joke, and some aren't fucked up. It's just the style of work and the way they choose to accomplish the goal. Surgeon A always hides a horizontal scar under the septum, Surgeon B leaves a vertical one along the inside of the nostril. Shit like that (but a little more complex)

The fuckups are even more distinctive, of course, but even really good surgeons leave their techniques behind, like a signature only other surgeons in the same field can decipher. It's the same for abdominal surgeries, heart surgery. While there's a recognized standard procedure, there's minor variations in the ways you accomplish the steps

When I was much younger in community college I saw a girl I was in a class with. She looked something like this.
2Me05Lg.jpg

She often wore BDSM style outfits to class. She was showing it all off. And she had a nice bod. And yet rarely you saw guys interact with her.

A few months into the course, she gets a nose job done. Almost before the bandages were off, there was a literal group of guys that would follow her everywhere in the building, it was like she became a mini-celebrity overnight. I was shocked, not only due to their behavior. But realizing myself, a young man, was now also feeling an urge to go talk to her.

For me personally it's also not helped that the first girl looks like the mentally disturbed ballet dancer murderer from Audition

Is it because you’re gay?

That's called a Roman nose, and she really did look more attractive with it. She's not ugly by any means in the second picture, but yeah she looks weirdly generic.

Again, this girl looks just fine. Yeah, her nose is slightly hooked, but it's slight enough that it's not a problem and makes her face more memorable. I've known girls in high school who were very popular who looked similar.

I have trouble believing that you really "rarely" saw guys show interest in a chick who looked like this and was dressing slutty, only to suddenly become interested in her when she got a nose job. I think your tism is making you not notice something important, like that her nose was a lot more pronounced than this girl's.

It was actually worse, but I don't have a comparable photo on hand.
