"Bad Plastic Surgery"
"Bad"

Please show me a woman who doesn't look way more hideous after the surgery. Bad plastic surgery sounds like a pleonasm to me.
Extremely minor ones like fixing saggy skin over the eyes, a subtle face lift/tightening of the neck are definitely not bad, it CAN be well done. But like makeup, less is more, and you want to highlight your natural features, not cover them up.

Edit: example- Blepharoplasty-bxa2.jpg
And she coulda gotten away with a small bit more taken off, but it's a smart idea to do less than you need.

Embrace womanhood, faggot. Man-world does. All my niggas are still fucking their baby mamas (so to speak, except it's white people).

Every physical quality that differentiates men from women is embraced by the average man—and especially by men who strongly desire women. Try not to hate the average man, or the man who really wants you (impossible).

We are not talking about “womanhood”, we are talking about a pregnancy complication that impacts a minority of women. Obviously it should be addressed and the fact that it isn’t paid for by society is fucked up. How can a woman be a good mother if she is suffering from constant back pain, when all that she did to cause it was endure pregnancy and create life?

It is no wonder that women feel resentful and left behind. Women are not having enough children and we are getting less support than ever when we do have them. Now, without grandparents that actually help out or a friendly community, a woman is expected to undergo pregnancy and childbirth and risk being forced to care for a baby while injured in a way that won’t heal.

Obviously, insurance should pay to fix this problem. Isn’t that what insurance is for? It is an unforeseen fixable health issue that can’t be prevented and doesn’t exist at all before you get pregnant.

Are there any examples of botched to saved? Like someone who bogged themselves but later, by some miracle, looked normal after more botox or plastic surgery? I can only think of Lindsay Lohan, but I dont know if she had much work done before the big shift recently (but at what cost? After all that yachting Lindsay?).
Last I saw Donatella Versace she was looking a fair bit less gargoyle-like than she had been. Some of that was a change in styling, but still.

She does seems to be able to open her eyes more, which I love atleast.
Would not recognize her on the street. Her squinty hooded eyes were very specifically "her." And unlike people who get more hooded eyes with age due to the flesh under the eyebrow dropping, she always had them. This is Jennifer Gray levels of looks-changing.

Picture for ants, but I know her story. She was so pretty before the nose job.
I think she event admitted she regretted it and that is ruined her potential of a successful career. "Sad", in the word of the president.

2008, 2015, 2018, 2023 (?), 2025
Somehow looks more 'natural' in 2025. Not a disaster.
In Japan it's seen as "cute". Idols and Models have them
Yep, it's almost a non-factor to Jpn/TW men. Koreans probably get it done because it's one more procedure to one up others with
Rumor is Kate Beckinsales abusing the ozempic
From being proof women can be stunning after 50 to repulsive in just a few years. 😭
Is this the first time you see anya taylor-joy?
IMHO she's the only exception to the rule that buccal fat removal makes a woman uglier.

Leaping from this to the same necro

This came up in my recommended and these idols are just, ordinary women in silly outfits. No idea if they can sing and dance or not, but even if they can they'd never be allowed to make it in Korea, what with being distinguishable from each other.

I'm always surprised they don't all have braces. Japs tend to have crooked teeth, you'd expect their idols to get braces.

Ahhh, you know I dont ;) I’m very fond of men although I couldnt eat a whole one. (Unless that’s phrased as it’s impossible a man would really want me in which case, ouch.)
I’d like my abs back though. No amount of planks and dedicated diastasis programs seems to locate them, and despite a lot of physio I am in quite some pain with my hips most days

There was show called Produce 48 where Korean kpop hopefuls and Japanese idols competed to be part of a girl group. The difference between the Korean and Japanese contestants was very illuminating. The Korean contestants were extremely polished, machine-like in their skills. They could dance, they could sing, they looked perfect. The Japanese girls were much less refined in their performances, but they made up for it in charisma. They had the personality and cute mannerisms that Japan values so much. It was very clear that kpop aims for perfection at all costs, while the Japanese Idol industry really focuses on creating that parasocial relationship with fans. You have to be cute, but not TOO perfect to the point it breaks the illusion of naturalness and attainability.

I think it’s the Japanese “wabi-sabi”aesthetic where they believe appearances are enhanced by slight, benign imperfections.

I kind of agree because there isn’t really any such thing as absolute perfection anyway, your eyes are always spotting flaws. So if you give something obvious to criticize, you can appreciate the remaining perfection without distractions because your critical impulse is quickly satisfied.

It’s why Japanese anime girls always have dumb “flaws” like being clumsy or whatever.

Philosophically, it explains plastic surgery addiction as well: once you fix the most obvious flaws, you become even more unsatisfied with your appearance because, if they were benign wabi-sabi flaws, they actually made you more pleasant to look at even if taken individually they were ugly.
