A quick summary of our research in this thread, in order of bogability
Most likely to bog
* buccal fat removal
* Korean Glasgow Smile (cutting DAO muscles)
* Bone grinding (“facial feminization surgery”)
* “foxy eyes” thread lift
* non-hyaluronic fillers (radiesse, sculptra)
* HA filler (lips)
* HA filler (under eye/cheek)
* BBL/large fat grafts
Danger zone
* HA filler (chin)
* chin/cheek implants
* small fat grafts (chin/cheeks)
* breast implants
* eyebrow microblading
* nose job
Never bogged if done responsibly
* face lift
* breast lift
* tummy tuck
* botox
Idk where ozempic abuse fits in, but if you’re irresponsible like Osborne or the cast of wicked it’s a total bog. But it’s amazing for some people.
I don’t know where to put veneers also. When done poorly, they’re one of the worst bogs, so bad I’d put them with other bone grinding
Why do celebrities get so bogged?
* endless ability to doctor shop — being told “not a good idea” by a responsible doctor can’t stop them
* pressure to look better fast, no ability to take “downtime” => quick fixes like filler instead of implants or surgery
* body dysmorphia from intense attention to appearance
EDIT: my reasoning for putting chin filler as danger zone and not most likely to bog is because filler tends to sink towards the bottom of your face, plus you have a lot of lymph nodes in that area so you metabolize it better from there if it spreads…. I think. This is based on looking at people and no real data. Koreaboos get chin filler a lot (“witchy chin”) and don’t seem to look like bloated alcoholics, while the under eye area seems the worst for spreading , stretching your skin, and making you look bloated over time.
Still, it’s probably bad for your lymph nodes and this is more about that area of your body being able to handle the abuse better and not it being a good idea
