Why do celebrities get so bogged?

* endless ability to doctor shop — being told “not a good idea” by a responsible doctor can’t stop them

* pressure to look better fast, no ability to take “downtime” => quick fixes like filler instead of implants or surgery

* body dysmorphia from intense attention to appearance

Also forgetting those wonderful after surgery drugs

Any foreign substance can cause an immune reaction where your body surrounds it with a protective coating of scar tissue/immune cells to prevent it for spreading. This makes it look lumpy. I think that’s what the user means by filler “curdling”.

It’s more of a danger with the non HA fillers because the HA fillers are less immunogenic, but I think it can happen with any of them

I thought it would be easy to find, but search results are flooded with lip filler clinic information pages which all promise you nothing ever happens and if it does happen it's nothing serious.

Best I could find is: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4728901/

I think I read before about collagen fillers that tend to create clumps? Although it might also be the hyaluronic acid injections if they're not distributed well or your body starts breaking it down unevenly.

Do not ever get fillers. They’re not even sure what that shit does once it’s put in your body.

I read it being used interchangeably with Botox, but Botox temporarily paralyzes muscles. It’s not something that stays in your body.

She naturally carries weight on her face in addition to having a big square jaw, so she always looked much bigger than she really was.

She is underweight but her BMI isn’t that low, so I suspect her extreme facial appearance is partly due to buccal fat removal.
I think she looks less skinny body vise because of having been fat before, she has quite a bit of loose skin in her arms.

Botox is pure magical awesomeness and I hate seeing people complain about someone being over botoxed when they actually mean bogged by fillers.

All of the truly great aging rich people have a lifetime of Botox to prevent etched in lines, micro fat grafts (risky but can be awesome if done by someone very skilled) for volume loss, and a deep plane face lift in their late 40s/early 50s. That’s it.

Oh and wearing a hat, avoiding smoking + alcohol excessively, and eating/sleeping well.

Thank you for reminding me that we don't even know the effects of filler after it being in our bodies. I've been considering filler for my barely noticable cleft chin and to use filler to get an upturned nose tip rather going under the knife. Though its tempting especially with how lookism runs the world, I don't want to look like a trainwreck in the future since we dont know where and how it could possibly migrate.

I think botox is fine in still pictures but when you see a botoxed person talk it looks like they wear a mask or had a stroke or something. Maybe those were people with bad botox, but the people I saw were a number of reasonably famous people that would've had access to a decent clinic.

Makeup is always an option, and just washes off if you miss your cleft. Don't let society dictate whether you like your body though, it'll change its mind sooner or later. Some people actually think small clefts are unique and cute.

And mineral sunblock too.
Most people seriously underestimate my age because I use sunblock 95% of the time.

Mineral sunblock and hats are the way to go.

Do not spread the nasty chemical shit on your face. It doesn’t work as well as they claim, doesn’t block the full spectrum, and gets into your bloodstream at 400x the levels they claimed it does.

The best way to block the sun is a physical barrier, either with minerals or a hat.

I love a good hat, personally. It’s very underrated as a sun protection technology. It never gets in your eyes. You only have to reapply when it comes off. Etc.

And you only have to buy it once

I have a friend that's always avoided the sun(among other things). So I guessed her age wrong by more than 20 years, she was several years older than me. The reason I had to know her age was that I became increasingly bothered by the idea of hanging out with what might be a girl that graduated from high school not that long ago. Now, years later, she looks to be 25-26. She's cracked 50...

What we can learn from her is that you should avoid the sun and eat whatever Joe Rogan is going on about at the moment.

Look at the temples, she overdid the Ozempic and wasted the weight away. Those hollow temples only appear on people who are either very old, as in 70+, or have been starving for a long time. Concentration camp prisoners and pro-anas also have that hollow temple look, it's caused by the body eating up, or drying out, the fat pads around the temples.
Men also can have some angularity there but it's more so caused by testosterone increasing bone growth, you see it in bodybuilders as a mix of bone projection and drying out to go on stage. I'm guessing that's why she has that tranny look.

That's really nice of you to say, made me feel a little bit better thanks. I try to just have a neutral mindset about my appearance; as long as I don't look homeless and be clean, I have no doubts that society will change it's mind every 5 years or so there's no point in changing for trends or anyone.
