Has anyone mentioned Oli London, the British K-Pop "artist" that tried to make himself look like one, but ended up looking like a lesbian instead?

In all seriousness, at what point should potential surgeons require the patients to take an eye exam? Do monstrosities like this look in the mirror & literally see something completely different than the rest of us do? Da fuk?
Yea, basically. It's almost like facial dysmorphia, they want to go bigger and fuller because its not enough to them. Some doctors want to start screening people for dysmorphia before doing procedures now. People are also filling their faces to look good on camera with filters and stuff, but then look like bloated corpses IRL. Example: kylie jenners selfies vs paparazzi candids.

A good practitioner will dissolve & refill properly or straight up refuse, but there's a looooot of cheap, shitty injectors out there who don't give a fuck.

Oh, yes, the psychological issues I understand - that seems to play into the majority of cases - but if you were to physically test their vision, find issues, & correct them, how many would look in the mirror for the first time & be as horrified as the rest of us?

Its not their eyeballs that are the issue. Like troons they are mentally unwell.

Do they know this is how they're going to look going in? Probably not. These are botch jobs, not "everything went exactly as planned" jobs.

Some are botched others keep pushing it, I think, with juuuust a little bit more, then a little bit more, then a little bit more here to balance it out and they go increasingly self-faceblind where they don't remember their original self.

I think I have posted this before as an example and it is pretty relatable in many ways, you can stare yourself blind or get snow blind if you focus intensely on one thing.

In this age of ubiquitous photography call me unreasonably skeptical but I doubt it's even possible to forget what you used to look like,

I think it's more likely, in the case of the people who keep going back, that they've fallen for the gambler's fallacy. If they just keep getting that one more surgery that'll finally be the one where their luck changes and they totally look beautiful.

Also once you've completely ruined your face with a botched surgery you have less to lose going back and trying again. Sure they may fuck up again, but your face is already fucked up.

Not forgotten like that. I looked different at 20 than I do today and I would be fucked in the head if I looked at younger pictures of myself and fretted about how I don't look like that anymore or wondered what happened. If I go year by year from 20 to now the sequence would be an evolution and not a sudden change. It's incremental, they compare themselves after fillers to pre-fillers in the same way they did the comparison of after filler to pre-fillers before that. Few go out and get the complete monster-face all-in-one, they build it piece by piece. If they're unhappy with the result of some cosmetic surgery that can be fixed with more cosmetic surgery!

They filter all their pictures now, so they really might not remember what they looked like. You even get some asking surgeons to make them look like their Facetuned selfies.

Butt lifts can be done perfectly well and still go horribly wrong.

I've watched interviews with surgeons who refuse to do them because the most common thing that happens is the fat ends up going into your blood stream and you just die.
I remember seeing a pic years back on... I wanna say lamermelculos (Spanish language ogrish/rotten.com basically,) where it showed a presumably Latina woman lying on a surgical table face down, with her entire ass cheeks rotted away, and a surgical tube of some kind connected to her asshole. The unofficial story was butt implants gone wrong, but who knows what really happened. I'll try and find the pic.

Edit: found a low-res picture, one of several. Can't seem to dig up the rest (though I did some absolutely horrendous shit from related gore sites)
